Cool stuff, it really makes a change to usual dnb!
great piano part, but a bit too loud i think... the drums go short.
and i think the bass overmodulates (is this the word??), it rustles in my speakers

I honestly was not expecting anything like this under the genre drum and bass. I have to say, I am impressed with this piece.

A lot of genres like drum and bass, crunk, dubstep and so on are pretty new to me and I'm still in the midst of cultivating a taste for them. The best I can offer is that I enjoyed listening to this track and would most likely do so again.

    Nice Job

This isn't a genre I'm really all that familiar with so I can't really comment from that perspective. As a geeral lover of music, however, I can say that I like this track.

    Well done

    Impressive groggy,

btw you are right about the kick drum it pushes away the other music, try a compressor on the kickdrum so u can mix it in easy and make it sound heavy.

I see stop action claymation put to this, or a song the lost toy island would play on the off season. Almost minimalistic. I dig.

I had to google that because I didn't understand what you were referring to. I had to laugh a bit seeing claymation on youtube, lol, its actually pretty funny. Thanks.

I like the fact that you referred to the intro as B-movie horror. I only say that because I am a cult horror/B-horror junky and it totally intrigued me to listen to this track. I thought the intro was spot on. The song was great too, very good and sparing use of samples in the right spots and an infectious groove. Good changes and bridges. A good track, for sure. Well done.

Personaly i think there are some wonderfull elements to this *track* if i may say so, perhaps the arrangment'would benifit, in regards of Bar/Blocks_Counts? rather than 4/8/16, go 1 nothch up,From what i can gather D&B only deals with 4 & 8 in its fills, & 16/32/64 Bar_counts for ' Verse & chorus's , I hope this helps for future tracks :) aka Tomahawk > Jamie

totally digging that transition man, i like how the pitch comes in, pure awesomeness how it flows into bass. I yhink you definatly got what you aimed for. ye i know the feelin' it's like loosing a red thread in the grey. nice stuff, im not fond of the dynamics in this one during the second half, but the first part and overal feel are totally nailed in me view.

Dude this is awesome! And yes, the vibe given from the track definitely fits the description, but also adds more of a paranoid fleeing vibe towards the end. But after reading the description I expected more of a ambientness to the beginning and more of an abrupt transition into chaos, maybe you could add some delay or more reverb effects to the synth in the beginning and a subtle bassline? The intro is kind of lacking... But other than that I really like it, good beat and progression and pimpin vocal samples.

Whatever genre you want to put it in, doesn't really matter. It was an enjoyable listen. I like the inclusion of the bird sounds. Would be nice to hear vocals on the track.

Very creative track! I think you achieved what you spoke of in your description! What is it that the vocal clip says, I can't quite make it out? I like how the main synth morphs with the bass! Really good beats too! Great work! Faved for sure!

I didn't hear this with the vocals, but it stands just fine as an instrumental. I really like the bass on this one, but I think it drowns out the drums a bit. I like the piano sections very much! Good track to chill out to! Well done!

    Groggy
    Reply by Groggy

I know what you mean when say the bass kind of drowns out the drums. The kicker isn't nowhere near as strong as in the piano sections.. I guess I could boost that a little too. Thanks for the nice words, glad it made you chill out :-) When are you going to upload a new track my friend? Am curious what you're working on now.

Its incredible how someone was allowed to attempt to sing on this if you want to call it singing.

I suggest removing that and let the track stand on its own of you can't get someone to really do what needs to be done.

    Pump up the bass

nice track other than that - Seems overly bright in places.

hahahaha that's funny! DOn't worry it's just a sample from fl studio9 I took from a demo. Maybe I should've mentioned it. Like I said I was just experimenting with vocals and clearly I failed ;) Thanks for the review and maybe I'll repost or edit the track without vocals someday! Greetz
