Epic. Dude, I don't suppose you can MIDI this up for me to play with at all could you please? I work with reason and rns project files but I'm pretty sure I have some sick synths i'd love to plug in to this track.

Haha try listening to the music from Extreme G racing for the gamecube. This sounds maybe closer to that. But i can so picture myself racing to this music!

Sweet track..very well constructed and a great use of looperman loops..the levels seem a bit off.it sounds like the drums should come a bit forward and give it more Bang-Boom-Pow..then again it could be these dam HTC earbuds im listening with..lol.great job.

Probably earbuds. It sounds good in my Yamaha producer headphones. Last time i tried to get the drums higher than this, it blasted through the wobbles. Need to make sure everything is good according to the Limiter. Thank you :)

Absolute love that you used all your own sounds, especially on the korg. I'm also an electronic musician and I've finally heard something that inspires me to write more! Keep it up dude!

haha I fav'd this one for just using hardware!
this house style is way different from mine but still very nice.
I don't use much hardware.. I have a midi controller and a mixer.. lol

I can give you a few tips on the mastering bit.
you'll probably need software for this, but : SIDECHAINING!!
man it's so important in electronic styles. I really use it in EVERY song I make. haha
It could be used on the big synth chords you hear in your song for example. so it kinda ducks underneath de bassdrum (what? lol) so that it all sounds way cooler and better together haha
You probably already knew that didn't you?

    peace man

    JimeVonLoops
    Reply by JimeVonLoops

yeah i had no clue what sidechaining is. thank you!

This sounds good, a bit random, as digitalSKYY said, but good!
I just read your Description, bro you do not have to use Massive to make a bass in FL, the FL has a lot of good vsti's with which you can make a decent bass!
Anyway thank you for credit, and good work bro!
    Keep up

seriously man, your loop was one of my favs to use in this song! It's good to hear i can make good quality dubstep basses without stuff like massive. and it felt good to give you guys credit too especially since i knew you guys would love to hear what i did with it. i'm glad you all liked it :) thats some goood encouragment to a guy who's just gotten into the Dubstep production buisness. I don't know how long my Dubstep production will last (I may be on and off at times as i still am used to making techno and stuff like that.) but for now it's looking like a bright, Dirty bassey, future :D

sounds kinda glitchy and metalic sounding.

    where is the warmth?

    JimeVonLoops
    Reply by JimeVonLoops

sorry man. alot of my songs need to be described in tags, not one particular genre. the drums were the most house part of it. also, it may have been how the disc got burned. When i burned the disc, it sounded different from the orignal quality. Would u suggest adding more synth pads to it perhaps? that may help in giving it the more warm feel.

Thanks man. so r u reffering to 2:17? lol That was a preset on Microkorg XL called "UnisonSQ." It's in the Synth Lead section under the DnB/breaks Genre. I used that, Modulated it a bit and then Played it in Arpegiated Style (Infact, the Arpegiator was turned on im pretty sure lol.) It's a really good Mini Keyboard Synthesizer and very easy to get from one place to another. Though it's Launch price was 500 $, I found it on Ebay for 300 $ (That is 99 $ Less than the original Microkorg!) Thanks for the review man!

thanks man. I used mainly the Saw Leade as the songs center point and then layed down drums and kept adding new stuff as i went along. Mixcraft 4.5 also has alot of really cool Presets built in.

    JimeVonLoops
    Reply by JimeVonLoops

That does sound nice, unfortunalty i formated my hardrive on the mixer and deleted all the project and track data :( Although i could try adding drums like that Via FL Studio 8 (becuase the pitch changer for drums on Korg D3200 Is not all that great.) i just hope that the drums from fruity loops layered with the drums already in the track itself wont cause any distortion in the song. but nice idea man, thanks for the review!

haha thanks man :) This review made my day lol. plus some people might not belive how hard it is to loop something u make using just a Hardware REcording system, no software or DJ controller. Man, it took me a while just to figure out that to loop on this thing = the operation "Copy" lol. thanks man :)

Thanks man. lol yeah, i notice that alot of my music's drums are always not Bassey enough. usually when i try correcting a quiet drum tracks volume, it just ends up going screwy and it clips out of control! Perhaps if i turn down the volume and the use a bass compressor effect...? That may work. I'll try working on stuff like that, but glad you liked the song though lol. thanks for the review
