This is in C# major btw. I don't use Majors as my baseline key very often, but it's easy to bring the pitch up or down to hit a minor

lovely double-bass intro and your git sits right in the pocket Chris, the drums are excellent love that snappy snare and the alternate cymbal smash, Rita' ad lib ooh is lovely, its a calming track i may have had the synths joining later a tad quieter or gain staged to were they are but thats just personal choice, two of my closest and longest friends here, it was an absolute pleasure to my big ears

I like it guitar adds a nice calming effect like you say simple can be effective i wish life was simple but then again that would be boring lol anyho both of you should be happy with it sometimes music does not need words just a journey :)
