expressing the straits so many people endure with true resilience and determination = music of empathy and respect - and deep recognition that leads to reflection - and most hopefully, action. deepest respect, brother
thanks brother for reminding me, often we get too caught up in the technical side that we end up creating sterilised music that smell of disinfectants like hospital wards. we forget emotions, which are the heart of music. much love and respect my brother
hey Mike, thans brother, was just messing around when creative juices were flowing, and my mind has no boundaries, no limits. Good to be back in your esteemed company again. I'd love to do a collab with you one of these days, but I am sure something will present itself when the time is right.
I am humbled UChris! I have downloaded it and will be playing it on repeat in my car. You just took it far up in the sky that emotionally it is now floating on clouds. Much love and respect
Vudu my friend long time since I've managed to catch up with you. Quality work is obviously still following from you. Hope all is well? Peace, Love & Justice mate.
much respect and appreciation. had some projects that kept me away from the loop family, but not for long hey. I am back and got some good experimental stuff. will post them soon
appreciate it, the beats are from probangers and Logic pro/Garage Band. had fun with it and Sonik wasn't disappointed when he heard the final cut (he is a rapper and I am not into rap).
Thanks for the listen Spivkurl. Kwaito is basically basically a hybrid of house and dance music (modified a little) whith rap-like vocals, usually in South African ethnic languages.
Wow shades of Leftfield and i just loved Leftfield i shall be playing this a lot would love to hear it with the synth taken down so it didnt overpower the main hook but superb nevertheless nice one Lee
Vudu I thought you had left the Loop so it's great to hear your awesome stuff again my friend. This is quality mate. Beautifull & haunting. Congrats on producing such a fine piece of work.
This is really nice. I don't usually check out 'chill out' stuff, but you mentioned violin and piano, so had to check it out and glad I did. I liked everything, but especially liked the vocals. Is that a looperman loop? I would love to have it. It has kind of an Enya feel.
Hey ScottB55, thanks for the listen. Unfortunately the vocal loops are from the Magix Music MakerMX sound pool DVD (I can't post them here as my own). Glad you enjoyed the piece.
thanks my brother. it is an emotional piece, and my son Luyanda connected with it instantly before I told him it was about him (I had given it a 'working title' only when he listened to it. I had called it 'Tears of a Smile'.
Vudu if this is your 1st go at Trance I lookk forward to hearing some more of this genree from you. It has a wicked sound and grooves along nicely. Lovely synth riffs mixed with the scratches. Great stuff
This is a very good piece! It makes me smile! I love the guitar on this! Very good percussion too! This is a cool style that I've never heard before, thanks for sharing! Faved for sure!
