In NZ we call it scroggin. Don't know where the word comes from. But I work in the bush and I eat a lot of it!

To me it has strong Author and Punisher vibe, which I found awesome! Good job.

Hm, very interesting comparison. I had never heard of Author and Punisher and so I went and watched some of their/his videos and, wow. I shall watch some more -- great, weird stuff. I do have some longer pieces that are more in that vein, which now I shall have to post probably.
Thank you for your listen and comment! I really appreciate it and you certainly got me thinking!

Yep I agree with all that too. Great fun and quirky. I think your grand kids are lucky, bet they think you're the best! Try red beans and rice by spearhead for a cool food based song.https://youtu.be/1504RX3uLpc

"Red Beans and Rice" -- loved it.
I don't know if my grandkids are lucky but I sure am!
My five-year-old granddaughter Eden is my best friend, we just love hanging out together.
Anyway, if you don't have grandkids yet I hope that someday you too can experience the joy they bring to your life just when you think you're getting too old to enjoy anything anymore. And if you do, then you too are lucky.
Thank you for the listen and the comment, I really appreciate it!

I put my bananas in the refrigerator, they last longer. When my bananas get old, I peel them and put them in a plastic bag in the freezer for a frosty banana treat, yummy!

I like the heartfelt vocals, they're touching, ha! Humor should be in music, twisted, sarcastic, satirically laden...whatever.

    Nice, fun, different!

Thank you, Wayne. Refrigerated bananas are tricky, as I'm sure you know, because if you don't eat them right away when you take them out of the cold, they turn black rather quickly, and squishy. I can eat a somewhat squishy banana but only with a crunchy accompaniment like peanuts or pepitas. I also have a TinySong about peanuts and several about trailmix where I've worked out the finer details of these foods. I'll be reporting back shortly, tune-wise, with some of those important learnings.

thanks Mofo like Steven says Schoolhouse Rock, your originality stands you out, im loving these TM's and being a grandfather myself i know that you have the ultimate feeling of love that ONLY granparents feel. i love to sing to mine. my oldest Roman is two, Mia-Mae six months my sons, my daughter is due in 4 weeks, her first a girl, Isla. Im blessed.
Roman loves music, my son has his nans rolland electric piano full size at home so hes always banging the keys and i take my sticks over and he loves street drumming, gets his buckets out and starts banging, great age to get him interested. please keep bringing this out the box work, yes its different but its inspirational bro, and who the fuck wants normal all the time, not me for sure

Oh, I'm so happy to hear about your grandkids. Because I know that you're just like me, surprised at how lucky you are to get to be a grandparent. I'm sure you never knew you had so much love inside of you. And when you get older, the love is all about serving others, not yourself anymore; you kinda get past that a little bit. i'm never so happy as when I'm throwing a ball with my grandson or playing Barbies with one my granddaughters. People look at us and think, oh you sad old fuckers. But we're really the lucky ones!

Cool track, did make me a little uneasy thinking about germs though:)...nice work.

    CitizenMofo2
    Reply by CitizenMofo2

It should make you uneasy. If I recall correctly (being too lazy to look it up right now) the number of cells in our microbiome is 100 trillion, whereas the number of cells in our body is 10 trillion. If this is correct (unlikely) then we're outnumbered 10 to 1 in our own bodies. They could take us over at any moment. Luckily, they seem disposed to let us live so they can continue to feed off us...

Don't talk about germs and microbes, on my way to the doctors for strept throat, swolen glands and ear infection. Oh those tiny creatures, they rule the world, don't they.

This is different, short but gets to the point. Good lyrics!

Off to see Dr. Feel Good!

    Take care!

Thank you, Wayne, and good luck with the doctors! I have had many ear infections and many poor ear doctors, so be careful! If your hearing is diminished, it may be because you have fluid in your eustachian tube, something a competent doctor can deal with easily but an incompetent doctor will misdiagnose as permanent hearing loss. So be careful and good luck!

Thank you! Just so you know, the trap track is just as it was. I didn't change it, just used it as is, and let it shape the lyrics accordingly. That break in the middle is there in the trap track, for example, and that shaped my little story, the first half going in and the second half coming out of the desert after nearly expiring. The shape of the story was determined by the shape of the music, which was handed to me on a silver platter. I love this type of exercise - or game. Find a great trap track and lay lyrics on it as is. Thanks, Tumbleweed, I have used many of your loops and have always appreciated your musicianship, which far exceeds mine.

YO Mofo, this is visionary bro, you will now be known as the loopermans Attenborough, love the grass and reed sound to represent the primates passing through snapping the sun drenched greenery. im all for saving the planet and protecting our history and animals alike, but theres a way to get your message out there, like this, its not like being dictated to like that fucking hypocrite gretta thurnberg, blaming my generation for destroying things and introducing plastic, well our shopping was in paper bags as were sweets fruit too milk and fizzy pop all recycled glass. yes we had chocolate but not with fooking plastic toys in like today and we walked to school in all weather rain snow and ice, 3 miles, unlike today, they jump in mums 4x4 and its only 500 yards away. flying round the world leaving a massive carbon footprint, the twat. ok rant over. :))))
the songs a fucking beauty bro.

Thank you for your wild and wonderful comment, I really appreciate it. It so happens that I watched a documentary just the other day that featured David Attenborough. He's got to be like 180 years old, and yet there he was in the Badlands of Montana handling dinosaur bones, then there he was at a museum in Britain, then there he was in Africa somewhere with the natives. If I can do that stuff when I'm his age, well, that'll be something.
It's fun to learn stuff and then to imagine based on that, back into the past, for example, or out past the nearest stars to the black holes that occupy the center of every galaxy. What I try to do more and more is to keep an open mind, to let no one do my thinking for me, because they're all wrong, to think my own thoughts, and that obligates me to learn as much as I can about everything so that I can think the right thoughts. Anyway, such is my philosophy of the day! Thank you for listening and responding and getting me thinking!

I saw that climate change and the deforesting of Africa forced the apes to walk upright to see predators in the tall grasses that flourished in their new habitat. Oh my aching back! Drought caused issues with the Sumerian civilizations. How bad are the droughts out in the western US now? Dang!

Interesting piece, stark, menacing, robotic, futuristic, barren at times. The vocals go well with the music, they compliment each other.

I have a monkey hat that I sometimes wear to remind me of where we came from. Just kidding. I wear it to amuse my grandkids.
The past is interesting to learn about because it's always changing. Or, that is, our understanding of it is.
I'm interested in the sunken continents like Beringia and Doggerland. I believe they're rich with ancient settlements, artifacts and bones that would completely change our human storyr, but we can't get to them as they're underwater. It always amazes me that, the more we know, the less we know. Everything I learned in school is now wrong. But, I guess, that just keeps it interesting.
