Haven't seen you here in a while Jim, good to hear a new one. Cool track, like the sound of the guitars. You always have that classic rock sound to your singing which I like. This is a well written song. We gonna hear any new songs with the TransAtlantic Experience any time soon? Talked to PMK a little while ago and seems to be busy, you guys make a cool combo!
Thanx Wayne! Greatly appreciated! I'm definitely up for some more stuff from TAE, but your right PMK seems to have a lot going on at this time, so I'm not sure when he'll be freed up. Plus before when he had time I was kind of busy. I may also start posting more stuff with a new band I"m with,in the next month or so. I'm trying to get back into posting more stuff on the loop again, some acapelas as wells some "REAL" drum loops and maybe some synth stuff!Thanx Again!
No comments on this yet? Wow. People are too lazy nowadays. I really enjoyed this one. I have much respect for Kikajon and his work - a great musician. The lyrics and vocalwork are nothing but stellar, and is a great companion to the 'raw' music. Thank you for sharing this great work of yours Tacatta and Kikajon. Certainly a couple of the most talented musicians on the site.
I totaly agree with you about Kikajon, and thanx so much for your feedback! We really appreciate your thoughts. I know I'm a fan of your work as well. I've got to get back to reviewing and posting songs more.
Thanks so much Allen. Your comments always mean a lot to me. I thought I knew what pain was... ah well all we can do is carry on I guess. But it's great to hear from you and sooner or later me and you gotta hit a song or two!
Thank you Vincen! Sorry it took me so long to respond, I must of lost track of your comment. I always appreciate what your opinions and comments. Maybe when I'm feeling less sad I can write a song about my mom that's a little more upbeat.
wow ... somehow this track slipped under my radar!!! awesome vocals man! you could have been the singer of one of the real big bands without a doubt ... thx from the heart for this one!!!
Thanx so much Rei, it was your loops that inspired me!I think I did a internet search for guitar loops and I found your guitar loops on Looperman. So not only did you inspire me to do this song you also helped me get to this awesome place!Thanx man!
I needed something to get me jump started today, and I'm glad I ran into this tune :) It definitely got the blood flowing, haha. Love the retro feel on this one....reminds me of better days when the bands played the big arenas and they all had hair ;)
Outstanding effort. The vocals were as good as Rei's guitar work, and that is saying something. Just wish I had a favorite button.
Thanx a lot Bear! I'll take the Rei comparison any day! Ahh I miss those days of the Big arenas and the hair!Maybe we'll get the Fav button and stats sometime down the line. The site looks great though!
I listened to this track straight after listening to Combat Zone and I wasn't disappointed! Another fantastic slice of proper metal! I really think you've achieved your goal of an ode to metal!
Fantastic piece of work my friend, I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Another fave! Peace and respect!
Thanks a lot CyberSon, it means a lot to me! I just tried to capture that classic heavy metal/hard rock feel.Thanx again and Peace and respect to you as well!
Oh yeah! Good old, proper metal (raise your goats)! You've got a quality voice my friend, which reminded me of Bruce Dickinson / Ozzy. The whole track had an authentic rock band feel to it, full of energy and emotion.
As an old rocker, I really enjoyed it and am really impressed! Keep on rockin buddy! Faved
Thank you very much! I definitely owe the feel and vibe of the song to my buddy Mike who wrote the music and the lyrics, I just tried to find the right sound for the vocals and drums.Still not sure on the drums though.Thanx for the mention of Dickinson and Ozzy, two singers I admire and who I feel have unique voices.I wish I could hit those high notes like Bruce Dickinson consistently though. lol
Thanx so much again John! Sorry it took so long to reply,i was a little out of commission for a while. My buddy wrote the music and words,i just put the melody and vox together, one of these days we'll re record it.
Oh yeah man, this is killer, a really great track, reminds me of lynyrd skynyrd. Great job on this, you guys always work so good together. Going to fav this one.
