very cool ... the mood is sad but the track is progressive ... it's not pop ( I can imagine millions reaching for the blade... :-) psychedelic maybe? but of course, it's not the point ... great track, fistbump, Dankr
Yeah I'm the same, although I now have a three or four stage process: - I write the track in a couple days and make a draft which I post on Looperman - I spend a couple more days fixed stuff - then after max 1 week (usually as soon as I have a new idea) I desert the track. Or actually I don't desert it, I make a video and schedule it to go live a couple weeks/months later on YouTube. - now a couple days before it goes live on YouTube, I take a fresh look at it and fix stuff I hadn't heard before - then last November I took some recent tracks, again did some fixes and published them as an EP; I plan to do something similar this summer but with an album of say 10-12 tracks.
So there's several cycles of "ok I'm done" and "let's have another look" keeping it fresh. See if that's something that might work for you (some similar cycle adjusted to your way of working)?
That's a great idea. I'll need to develop some sort of workflow like that. currently I just throw things together in the moment and once I'm done I'm done. Very seldom will I actually put an appropriate amount of time into projects, I just lose interest in them I suppose.. But, I do want to become better at this, maybe even make it a profession. I think utilizing a the same or similar method you provided would provide me with growth. Again, thank you for the input/advice my friend I appreciate it very much.
I'll most likely just leave it how it is to be honest, once I've rendered a project I almost never go back to it. I appreciate your input though, it is very valued, thank you my friend!
hey man i really like this a lot. nice tonal variety and great production. the song is catchy as hell. i can hear Shaman77 singing a poem with this if yer looking for collab, you oughtta hit him up.
Awesome track. One thing though, I'm listening on crappy inner ear phones, but it sounds to me like it could be clipping/distorting in the louder parts. Maybe you want to check that, but otherwise really enjoyed this!!
That's quite possible, been having trouble getting the right sound on this one, not many good free guitar Vests, I thought perhaps it was just my headphones. I'll go back in and see if I can fix that, thank you my friend.
Nice, I really like where this head-boppin' track is going. I think the pads need to be pushed back a little bit... Let the other elements shine more. Cheers!

That's awesome. You can make music with limited means but at some point it holds you back and then investing in better stuff is just such a joy :)

Yeah I get that, but it has loads of energy, exactly because it isn't all perfectly in time, so make sure you don't lose that energy!

I like it. Strong rap, and the out of tune piano gives it a great weird sound that works well. Good job!
