i like ur style but the tracks sound a lil flat .. wat are u using?? this one seems like its waiting for the bridge to drop so it can kick in to high gear.. da synths / pad u did was nice
I dig this one too. I think you should bring up that bassy type synth in volume. Mabey leave the rain and thunder just in the intro and the hook parts. Other than that it sounds pretty straight.
for a hip hop track, the synth pads and rolls are somewhat disjointed. where the synths break off at the end is almost what this track should have - space.
it's a good start, don't get me wrong. the beat in nice, the hook is there, use of the keys/rhodes feel is a good add, but the synths just seem out of place.
anyone to do vox? might add some texture to it. drops and breaks would help too.
Yeah, you're right! I agree 100% I wasn't sure what to categorize it as though. Do you think it would be better in electro or fusion? I mean I didn't have hip-hop in mind when making it but I wasn't sure what other genre could describe it. Thanks for the input!!
