Thanks for the kind words bro. The longer version of the song is being recorded tonight, and being released on the album: LOL AT LIFE (By: Clever Joker). Peace
Thanks Spivkurl. Hopefully you smiled as you ate holistic/organic foods and no GMO foods lol. Talk later. If you get a second hear our album at http://www.reverbnation.com/cleverjoker
I am not sure what "genre" I would catagorize it as, but that doesnt really matter much to me - I like the complexity of the drum programming - nice work!
Thanks, we just finished the music video. Please help spread the word, we have some global momentum slowly picking up, and our plan is to release an album of socially conscious music that encourages people to work together to save the environment, end racism, sexism, poverty, etc. Here's the link to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Q4Y91_m8U0 Thanks for your support. Indeed nice message. Perhaps you might benifit from working on a better mix. The message seems to be behind the percussions. I think the most important thing in this track is the message, let it sit upfront in the mix.
Hi Dieselj: Appreciate your giving us some green "gas/diesel" love. Re mix, will see was up in the final mix for the album. Re the lyrics, positive vibes all the way. Peace.
When I first heard this, I didn't like it. Then I listened to the lyrics and heard the message. Great job. Not my kind of music but I'm glad I decided to listen to all of it. Keep the positve messages spinnin'
Play 2 now... I thought the vocals were pretty cool, save for the high pitched 'oy' one. Hmm, maybe if ya had it say 'hey' instead it might pair with the lower pitched 'oy' better. I dunno, just random thoughts here. And the drums were fabulous. Nicely done there. I'm thinkin this track would be killer if ya added some bass to go with the drums. Something like a long drawn out growl mixed with the periodic throbbing wub-wub ones, ya know. Cool stuff mate. Later on!
Thanks, sorry for the late response, been in the studio finishing movie soundtrack and some hype socially conscious funky tracks for 2 albums. The positive comments keep me motivated so thanks so much. Email me anytime for 411.
Appreciate your feedback. Depending on the song I get very poly with the beats. But I'll re-listen to the beat and see if my beat has gone from poly to psycho :-) Peace
Thanks, my friends and bus associates tell me my sound is unique, and I try to balance that with two other variables: commercial appeal and social-consciousness. Peace
easy man, first of all in my opinion this does not sound like garage music(or dubdtep). i only listened to it through my lap top speakers so im not going to totally nock the production level but the beats dont sound like house and g!! what i would do is to either listen to a 2step break or a 4x4 beat and try mimick it and use it instead of the one u have. or even get a good garage loop cut out the low end 100htz and run it underneath ur tune making it fit as best u can, or even if u can make it fit under the break ur already using it to give it a real garage sound. hope this helps safe
I have no idea on dubset but I'll try to use my DnB knowledge for some feedback.
Well there isn't really a kick, there is a sub bass, and another kick that doesn't have much bass. There also isn't a realy dirty bassline, from my VERY minimal experience with dubset I remember it being hardhitting with a dirty bassline. This has an oldskool hardcore break kind of feel, light, and all over the place.
I am missing the baaaaaass here in this what should be Dubstep. It does actualy sounds like it's roots like two-step or garage. Thats the only thing what did not suit me. U got nice beat (bit more compremenzive fo dub step), good sound, great noisezzz and prizeless idea.
Thanks Chemlon for the feedback. Wondering if I should pull this from Dubstep and stick it jut in the Club section of looperman, but I love the feedback from the dubstep heads since the feedback gives me ideas not only for future DubStep mixes on this one, but also for future songs. Peace and thanks again....
Thanks, I started this track with a DNB, then changed it to club, then just went for it, and let the track take me where it wanted to go. Often I create thinking a genre, but other times the tracks have a darn mind of their own. Often, my drums are crazy very poly. Best wishes, I really live for the feedback, it's how I learn, grow.
Thanks, I've been producing about 20 tracks with for similar genre (some are more rock based, others more reggae, while others have either African or Hispanic/Latino flavors).

Dig the message. Good mix and arrangement. Like how it's got a kind of watery feel behind it all.

I like the intensity of the music with the creativity of the lyrics. Such a great production.

Hi mate, the trck is ok, its a little electronic sounding but your mixdown is balanced:)

Overall this is more 2step/garage the bass is no where near what it shud be for dubstep, (you basically shud almost get drowned in it)
The idea is good, but as others have said, wheres the bass?
I'll give u a 8/10 for the try though.
