Black Sabbath kinda guitars but sometimes inaccurately ... drums are like Queen: We will rock you ... tad bit experimental noise ... 50 - 50 % :-) but good to hear heavy noise here for sure ...
This is great so far, as Danke mentioned it could use more work on the drums.
I checked out your "my influences" section and while i did expect to see the likes of Iggy Pop and Joy Division (based on your music) I was suprised to see no mention of Sisters of Mercy. I highly recommend you check out their albums "First and Last and Always" and "Floodland" if you haven't already. Your music falls in a similar vein to theirs so I feel it might be a good source of inspiration for you.
Needless to say, i'm interested to see how this project pans out.
Hi yes thanks for all your comments appreciate the feed back. I plan to re do the song with bass guitar added and different synth sounds, its a basic progression B D G E so will upload when this is done in the coming week. Thks for sister of mercy will listen tonite.
Wow this is so eclectic... really dug it. Film score for sure...like the moody gtr riffs...would luv to hear fully mixed/mastered in studio. Peace! Mark
some really cool sonic youth-like dischordant dream weaving you got going on,cool spacious recording.Reminded me a little of Tortoise as well..curious as to your tuning as well.Anyway keep it up!
Dream theatre comes to mind if you didnt say so yourself, very cinematic. Must say is neat how you achieved such a large atmosphere sound with such simple sounds, the guitar is alive and gives such an eighties flock of seagulls sound which, you guessed, cool. There are some 'zero crossing' pops that sometimes can sound increased with heavier reverb settings, is minor and just to consider in future recordings, if any questions about that feel free to ask here, i could suggest few quick remedies to prevent any pops, otherwise, AWESOME

Epic entrance. Great bounce and flow with that guitar sitting pretty in the mix. Well done composition.

This is way more Funk than Rock. Needs some work in spots but decent bones.

Kinda sorta a little brings to mind Kurt Vile. Just stick it in the ground & watch it grow.

guitars are fantastic but those drums are floating in the mix, if you know what I mean...but all in all, great snippet...
