I very much enjoyed this piece, my piece, I found it to be both well composed and well produced. Its not easy to keep the attention of a listener for 7 mins +, but I think you were very effective in doing just that with this track.

Yeah, you've got that psychedelic downtempo/chillout vibe down perfectly. This is just blissful and takes me back quite a few years where I'd listen to stuff like this while smoking pot. Your manipulations and use of vocals + the bassline deserves special mention. Well done.
Sheeeit, I was kind of skeptical during the intro, which despite being perfectly composed wasn't my cup of tea, but once that bassline enters this is just perfect. Got a psychedelic dub/lounge vibe to it that reminds me of this artist named Ott that I used to listen to years ago. Excellent arrangement and progression too.
A minor caveat though - really not feeling the flute. This is purely subjective and apologies if I'm being too harsh, but it takes what is a sophisticated composition into standard "world music" territory. Other than that, I loved this.
Wow I love Ott. I'm honored by the comparison. Glad you like it man. I wasn't feeling the flute too much either.. I wanted a more "real" ethnic sound. (I tweeked around, couldn't get it without a using sample.) It sounds kinda fake to me. It might've sounded better through your ears if I was able to get that.
really cool intro! i tell ya one of the things that really sticks out in your tracks is your attention to the technical aspects of the styles your fuseing together. beautiful work bredda! bless up!
Truly Ambient as I understand the definition. And while it could be totally "ignored" in the background, at least consciously, it subtly jacks right into the listeners emotions and gently tweaks away.

Yeah I said ambient, I hate definitions anyways. haha The way this track was able to tweak even my emotions as I was creating it surprised me. I guess you cannot "manufacture" that response in people; it comes from within.
I like this track. It;s very laid back and ever so appealling to the ear. The only thing that didn't kick for me was the level of the vocals. In my opinion, they would sound better brought a bit more to the foreground.
