Commented on Death is only the beginning by Angstofnorthland

    Greetings, Angstofnorthland.

I like the flangey guitars in the intro. sound clip is mixed in well.

This bad boy is compressed to the max! Guitars come in and seem a bit muddy and bassy. Seems like there is a lot of lows and some low-mids that need to be cut for more clarity. Put a mid-scoop on the master and see if you like what it does to the clarity.

Vocals move the song along, though pretty pitchy. I like the writing of everything, so far!

1:12- The crashing cymbal on the left ends abruptly and sounds unnatural. Cant that be extended or delay added to it to help it taper better?

1:14- A lot of static popping sounds. Pretty sure this is the sound of clipping. Something is maxed out here, and I think the compressor is the culprit.

2:42- This is awesome. Would love to hear more of that in the track. Very nice tone and it works well with the different elements.

3:42- Going pretty Megadeth there. Nice contrast.

A lot of this is pretty damn impressive! Only issues are mix and some of the vocal notes, which really is just me being picky. I like getting constructive feedback, so I figure others do, as well.

Good energy from the guitar takes, drums are smashing well, nice job with that. Great break at the 2 min mark area, that's where it all really sets in and has this inescapable feel as if seeing things beyond what one knows locked in that asylum with you. Cool Lil Ramms type chugging happening here and there in the song. Dig how it breaks apart while pulling itself back together at the same time ha. Thanks for sharing, keep up the interesting work. Peace.

Fk yeah! \m/ \m/ Exactly the type of metal I love! slow, dark, doomy and groovy. I did a cinematic one called Alone in the dark based on a true story of a young girl being immured in a crypt. More please! \m/ \m/
ps. Neo makes awesome band logos!! He did mine for Deviant Internment 3:)

Dig the Intro. This is way heavier stuff than Rock in my opinion. More Metal/Thrash. I think the slower parts work well against the faster stuff. Overall nice job.
