Love the song. Dude that sux re your brother -I had the same thing happen to me (except it was my sister). I remember writing everything I felt into a sort of essay/poem straight away too. Hugs to you and yours - I know it's raw but just know there's a kiwi chick out here sending you all good vibes.
Thanks Evan. I like your music too. I am first and foremost a guitarist but I just purchased a Fender VI bass guitar, so of course I wanted to give it some air in this composition. I'll post another "bass forward" track today called "Take The High Road". Check it out and give me some feedback. Your opinion matters.
This is awesome guitar playing from both of you?...
This song has huge potential...for example, let's talk about the drums...:-)...there is no groovy in the number...there are some many useful drum softwares in the freeware section on the net...or that was a concept, not hitting the snare, for example?
This is not offensive I hope, but you play extremely heartfelt and well and you need something or somebody who gets you the bases...
Thanks so much for taking the time to listen. Yes, the drums are rather dull. This is because I recorded the entire thing with a Loop Station pedal, which has very limited beats and no dynamics. Thanks again.
Love the flute. You used so many contrasts. Very different then most which is meant as a comliment. This is really a great track that deserves recognition. Sounds very simple but it's not by any stretch. Great ear you have. Gord
Perfect title for this track! The guitar work is just superb! Those leads are awesome! I really like the bass lines too! Funky stuff for sure! Well done!
Thank you. I really appreciate it. I love playing this kinda stuff. It probably goes on too long, but seriously, I could have played longer. Thanks for listening.
Hey Charlie! This one moves right along so well.Your description is accurate...driving yet laid back. The guitars are great as always and I appreciate your "lead wisdom"...you know how it's supposed to sound!
man i have always been on the search for someone who can capture the essence of the floyd, and I think I finally found someone who can do just that. great job man. each track I listen to is just superb. You really have some talent!! this sounds like pre dark side floyd, love it.
Very funky, James Brown feel for sure. Tried the split , not good, pulled a muscle, ripped my pants, haha, just kiddin! This is really great Charlie. I looked at the time of this, it's short but it doesn't seem like it. Very cool!
Great work! This really has that James Brown spirit while still standing entirely on its own merits. The Godfather of Funk would howl his approval too I think.
Congrats on 2 years here. I really appreciate hearing such artistry and talent on the site!
Great job Charlie and I liked your interview this morning. It's hard to beat a live guitar and you do this very well, matter of fact you play it all very well!
Poor man, a few poeple let comments to your productions. So, I repare this telling you that you do a real good work. Don't worry, You love what you do, it's essential ! I Too. Nice job !

I think you're pretty damn good with the bass and the guitars, but the drums needs a little variety.

Very nice to hear stuff like this here. Reminds me a bit of my stuff.
Bass was nice to here a bit out front.
Overall good writing, could go a few more places but the way you have it is fine.
