Nice piece of chilled out tune right here. Really like everything in the track, but especially the didgeridoo and the guitar, at least I'm guessing that's what it is... As for a title, this track feels like I'm peacefully taking off on a boat off to the horizon, hehe. I'd call it "Sailing Away" most likely, as if I could make a huge piece of chill out like this :-)
Whoa, this is amazing man. So many elements and parts in this one here. Really great track, considering I'm a Prodigy fan myself too, I can say this resembles Prodigy's style in some way up until about 2:17 when the solo starts and then it turns into some mad Prodigy vs stoner rock or something haha nice. I really enjoy your bassline and your great solo on the guitar, I take it you played it yourself? Anyway, really intense track, nice one.
Pretty interesting track, has a lot of feels to it. Naming this is a tough task, it has a Japanese and Australian and some techno and some orchestration and some..... Nicely put together and prob tough too. Liked it, on play 2 now, hmmm, a name..... how bout, "Down Under the Cherry Blossoms", ha! Well I tried, enjoyed it a lot!
Wow. This is amazing. And seeing as you want help naming it I would love to be of service! But warning you now, I do make really wierd titles generally.
I would call it "Watch Carefully As I Break This 4th Wall" or "Please, Enjoy the Show." Heh. Just suggestions.
As far as genre, I think chillout makes sense.
The track is truly magnificent, I loved every second of it. The beat flows nicely, lots of cool sounds that meld together real well.
To a lock as the pepe is to the puddy, haha. What makes the guy so lame is that he's actually being serious. And ends with 'Can ya dig it'... Hahaha, umm, maybe I needta stop sayin that on my track desc's.
I love the concept and think that it's great to be able to come up with a track that either is or is from comedy. I did a Bloodhound Gang spoof on my song Bedroom Faces on much of the same premise. Though I decided later to drop the silly voc sams.
Outta there (does arm crossing sign like the Umps do). Ok, so GW was a horrible pres, but he was one awesome spokesman/personality. Maybe we could keep him around to make random public announcements.
'Fool me once,..'
Aww man, that's classic. It'll never give old. Jesus, what a boob! No wait, I got a better idea. We should start a drive to give him his own daytime kids show. Where he'd read books and try to edjamacate dem kids. Hahahahahaha! Great song mate, l-o-v-d it!
Interesting first attempt at electro. I especially enjoyed the alarm sounding synth near the beginning and the rubbery bass sounds after that. The Guitars were mean, but I liked the Disco wah stuff ya used on here more than the lead riffs. And using a scanner sample for the vocal stuff was brilliant. Good job mate. Lates!
Turning on blacklights and strobe lights. Grabs glowsticks..
Dancing by myself.
Great track dude! Love it!!!
This is really good. I do agree with Matney a lil bit... I dunno, if you have the mix still in your DAW, you should just go WACKY and try things you may think will work, or ... you know.
On the mix you hear how it is kinda shaky sounding?
you should see what stretches the algorithm of your loops. See that is what is the cause of vibration sounds to happen in between your loops.
I don't use Acid, but since you use that.. you might want to do a search and see what the loop is judge on, if it is the beat structure, if it is the pitch, if it is the complex wave?
I don't know! Ableton does that for me. and I feel like a spoiled bitch... but i digress.. Complex wave pattern algorithms suck the life out of your CPU. Soo see what you can do. (I hope you aren't mad, i am just saying... I know bilbozo uses acid, and he doesn't have that sampled sound, you might ask him?)
Back to the track. Despite that... this is fucking awesome.
Groovy.. Great mix of reggae and hard rock. You like the roots and ratm? heheh anyways.. gettin' off track.
Dude what is what? are you playing? If so... we are so collabing..
I love the bass at the end.
If it was loops.. We are soo collabing.
Either way. We are soo collabing...
This was sick. I would have added some reggaeton styley reverb on flava flave. totally.
AWESOME! And shaking my head off about g dubbya.. god bless his simple dumfuk heart.
ok.. my review style is this. say hello! some things i love about the track. some criticism (which i just state as opinion, always with respect) and if the song is great, and I don't know how to respond, i tell jokes, and write stories. heheh..
ok .. listen number three, getting a good feel for this one.
I agree with the bottom two reviews. Definitely light-hearted and fun, with wise words.
I would say this might be a bit quiet. and I completely understand why you don't allow downloads and respect that. let me check. hmm... with my soundcard peaked, this was peaking at -6db. Which means you have about -3db headroom to play with. that you could compress and or limit, or normalize, or hard limit (my fave, as most my stuff is ear achingly loud) basically all mean, make louder in the mix. then, you can remove certain EQ's to make the mix more polished, just like the CD's or radio's.
(IN FACT, i might just e-mail you, and let you know most of what i know, and if you have questions, we can both figure some shit out.)
soo... louder please.. and a master?
ummm, i think that leads me to my next opinion, and that is the contrast of the funk (which is GREAT!) and then the hard rock (WHICH is ALSO GREAT!)... in my opinion, they do contrast, and I KNOW HOW HARD it can be to nail that soft hard aesthetic. I would like to encourage you to get subscribed to Tape-op...
(as stated... will e-mail)
Great song! hey, I am new too! I have only been doing this for about 8 months. I am getting better!
i really enjoyed listening to your track..I understand what Esh is saying because sometimes it did sound that there was too much going on .. but I kinda liked it that way. especially when that harder beat came in , that blew me away. New York is a city of lots of different sounds happening all at once and I think that youve captured that in this track. mik

Sorry I took soo long to get back at you
WOW.. why are the Pixies and Nirvana coming to mind...
This is beautiful..
Man why do you leave soo much lol!
looperman is harmless.
That guitar is being stolen at the moment by me... Sonically.
With my ears.
This is a great fusion / cinematic piece man!
Awesome break.
Amazing progression.
Levels are low, but that's ok!
:)
Better low than loud I think...

good bass!!!
This is stereo bass at it's finest!
I have personally had a lot of issues with bass being stereo panned ruining vocal tracks. and stuf..
great stuff.
I love it.
(the bass at the end stereo bouncing was fucking awesome.)
What you scratching with???
Loops?????
Would you be interested in collaborating on a gangster rap song with me?

There's one guy rappin on this that kinda sounds like Cris Rock. I'm sorry, each time he comes on I start laughin.
As for the track, I like how the Guitars are kind of a mix between disco and Rage against the Machine. Very different!
