this is a mood provoking piece that gives a sense of serenity. Sounds like of something Moby off his b-sides. More and more i am seeing a depth in cinematic pieces that makes me appreciate the beauty in music..Pieces like this shouldnt go by unoticed. Very nice Mister Brahams

Thank you so much for your kind comments. With each new track I'm producing, I come to realize that my style is very much rooted in the cinematic. My goal (even before I knew I had a goal) is to provoke moods, very much so, and with this piece I wanted the listener to get the sense they were looking over the world, and all the busy activities on it (mostly the human side but some animals too). I also made a music video on youtube meshing the Qatsi trilogy. It is here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZIPsth5dmQ
Thank you again, retronical for the love review.

Smooth sound and a nice mix. You've put together a nice track with the loops you've used but it just lacks something to build it towards the end. Just a single note like a high pitched string or synth could be all it needs. Nice one

My definition of dance can go beyond the club dancefloor. Waltz, pheasant dance, rolling around on the floor, hula hoops on fire, sort of a last dance with a lost love. can take many forms and you captured an essence of that. I picture twirling bodies. Live drums sound fire.

Cool percussion. A bit deep on the low end. Add some light by using higher registers. Good switch around 2:30. There is a bleep @ the end. Tight work, only 1 way but up!

Lookin' outside my window. Unfamiliar people presently on property. Watching them. Calmly equipping myself. Adrenaline. Excitement builds as their movement continues. I feel like I have done this before. Different scenarios flash in front of my eyes. Like an animal in the wild. I watch. I wait. (4:30) My heartbeat increases. In an instant the unfamiliars disappear. I have engaged. The battle is fierce. Only for a moment. Now what to do(7:45) The harsh reality sets in. There are unknown answers I must produce for these pressuring questions. I do not surrender. Because this has happened before. (9:30) I am alive.

I really appreciate all your feedback. You're basically receiving my songs how I want them to be received. I guess I'm emulating a lot of cinematic and visual effects and trying to transpose them into music form. I love film, music, soundtracks, and editing things together. Again, thank you for the feed back, it motivates me to post more of my tracks which are numbered around 60, but I was just kind of procrastinating.

Good groove. Nice 1 bringing that synth in around 1:45 it creates pleasure. Feels sad in a way. Like saying goodbye to someone who keeps leaving and coming back. Now Im right there watching someone drown at the beach, slowly surfacing on the sand. Its the piano that does that. Gotta love that piano. The percussion represents the wall of water. Tight work. Only 1 way but up!

It sounds like a portrait. The pads and synths give it a good jam session feel. Very pleasing to the ears. Tight work. Only 1 way but up!

It very much is a portrait. You are an excellent musician and have a very refined ear. Here is the video for Sketch Today (sketch the day) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ZIPsth5dmQ

If you take a look, you'll see that my inspiration for the piece was very much as a portrait of our planet.

relaxing and soothing beat... love the intro, i am just not quite sure what comes after fits what you started with,
skipbeat drums and jungle gongs are always nice but they keep looping on and on and on, maybe try to make it more interesting towards the end, so it builds up to something.
cheers and great job you got me listening till the end

You are soooo right. I know what you're saying exactly. My thoughts were the same before posting the track. I'm using lp member's loop contribution and I'm no where near being classically trained. I'm still confused on how to progress my tracks properly with what I'm given.

Thanks for your excellent review and all the shared incite you have reinforced in my future music forays.

PS I'm really glad it relaxed you for sometime. Peace

I would call this more of a Chill or New Age track instead of dance but I like it either way. I had it playing in the background while checking my email and it was relaxing. Nice job. :)

I've taken note and have changed the genre of music to Chiil Out. That's really cool that you were able to do other things while this played on in the background. I kind of created it to be background/elevator music. Thanks for the review I appreciate it. PS Glad you found it to be relaxing. Peace.

This piece is about transformation, from my perspective. Truth is, it brings to mind images of the woman I loved and was married to for many years, becoming an evil entity I did not even recognize as being the same person when we were going through our divorce. The screaming would be me wanting to know what the f--k was going on. Some vocals, not singing, but speech expressing such a transition, or some other such transition, might be very effective.

As it stands this is a great piece

Really excellent reply. I was hoping someone would go into that type of depth about what they felt. I agree, that the piece is very much about transformation, and over-coming the odds, that may seem impossible, in front you.

I very greatly appreciate the response.

You might want to consider a re-mix as the levels sound very low. Cool sounding track though. It needs a melodic element to entice the listener. Nothing wrong with a track that is principaly rhythm in nature, but you need even just a sparse melody to carry a song. Also there is a very loud clip at the end of the song that needs to be addressed. You have a very strong and cool base to work with, so you should be able to add some spice very easily. Peace, Six

This reminds me more of a trance or dance tune. Too bad you don't have any vocals from the turtles or Master Spinter to add. That would help soak up time in the intro. Otherwise pass the pizza dude. It's all good. mokeone
