This is a great song man! I've not had the pleasure of hearing ur work before, but I'm glad I hit play on this one. I'm a fan of music of all kinds, especially ones made by true songwriters or composers. U can tell the difference. Great work here, man.
a style recognizable among thousands, great composition Wayne even if I would have preferred a mix a little more "bold" the song is very nice! great job my friend! Michael
Hello Wayne, you know I like your songs a lot. They always put me in a good mood. This uncompromising rock style that you style in your songs fits your singing incredibly well. I also have to tell you again and again that since you bought this incredibly good guitar, your songs have become even more authentic and I can tell that you're having a lot of fun with them. I hope that I will hear new songs from you here again soon, Kind regards and have a nice weekend Manuela
The new Epiphone Les Paul Jr has 1 P 90 Pro pickup in it as compared to the 2 humbuckers the Les Paul I bought last year has. Totally different beast and different tones and I feel it's gonna be my new favorite guitar. Love the chunky 50's neck this has.
My new Epiphone Les Paul Jr is pretty darn awesome, it's amazing how many tones you can get with one pickup. Plus it's a third cheaper than a Gibson, I feel like I'm stealing from them when I buy these new guitars.
No, haven't noticed any latency issues. From ez into your daw? I skipped ez 2, didn't look like it would help me anymore than ez 1. But ez 3 is a different monster. Way more samples, more ways the tracks can be mixed, it's just leaps and bounds beyond ez 1.
Self named track? lol Very nice rock sound mate, listening to it with headset, fill set very nicely, vocals are great in this one, nice work on the vocals Wayne, wish I could sing but there's no hope with my vocals unless there is a machine to tune and much more before I would record any vocals...Very surprised this has one review before mine...everything works very well in this piece from drums and guitar and vocals, can't fault any part of it my friend...much respect to you Wayne....mos..
nice to have you back around Wayne, great to here your style, sounds like you had great fun using your new kit, it all sounds great as always and can only add to the motivation to keep grinding great sound quality everything is pin sharp and clear
It was a much needed break. My old intel imac still works as a stand alone music production machine but all the new standards for internet were past my comp's ability to keep up. Starting fresh is good, keeps the mind attentive and updated.
Wayne, Long time since I've heard one of your tracks. I hope all is well. The thing about luck is we can make our luck. The way I look at it is, if you can write one song, you can write them all.
Thanks! Things are going ok, can't complain, thanks for asking.
We create our opportunities for success or failure. Usually, the harder you work at something, the more it pays off for you in the long run. Call it making luck if you want. This guy is just down on his luck and he's letting you know, he.
Hey Wayne Hey this sounds like Spiv on vocals. Listening with head set mate, fills out set very well indeed, great guitar playing as well, comes across like a pub track in a good way :) overall, cannot fault my friend, prob only thing wish it was longer as it sounds so good, suppose that's a good thing lol, fav my friend, might pop you an email next few days when I get a chance away from work, peace much respect mosaic....
Hey pal! No, not Spiv on vox, that's my new, rough rock voice, lol. Thanks for the nice words!
I write short songs mostly 2-2.5 minutes. Way easier to mix a short song, less time spent mixing, so much less content to list to and scrutinize. Why put yourself thru the agony of a 6 min track? Must take weeks to mix, he. Can do 3 songs in that time and learn more that way. I do get a lot of comments saying the song was too short, oh well. Hit the play button again I say!!
Excellent! Cant say that it reminds me of anything, its got its own sound...something i always go out of my way to do, not sound like anyone else....good work!
We all strive to be different when it comes to doing this, well I hope we all do. Got my new git and pedal so I'm putting it to good use. Epiphone Les Paul Standard/The Guv'nor by Marshall.
I love those onions, could have been a lot greener. Just kidding. You are true professional here. Your vocals have a refined rustic folk music quality to it. The guitars are well over the top genius. Well done.
story of my life ha. youre firing on all cylinders for all the negativity and beautiful snottiness. i was thinking richard hell and the voidoids, waiting for a quine solo when in steps the theremin, yeah man that works! its all rock and roll, dude. hope this finds you in good fortune, wayne!
great intro Wayne, your brand and delivery are stamped bro you have always delivered. this with its old skool London punk style is class and takes me back to when it was bang in fashion. you are having a ball with your new kit your loving that moog theremin lead eh. i use to do alot of calibration for Moog aerospace :))
There's a lot of this kinda music being made these days. It's more modern rock to me than classic rock even tho it's roots are solidly bedded in the "classic" rock style. I think of the Black Keys, for instance. I'm doing music in that general style without trying to directly sound like them.
You get your style from your music heroes, nicking this off that guy and this thing off of that guy. Like John Prine, he's another guy who I take his lyric writing style to heart, some humor, weird situations in the songs and great stories. Combine good lyrics with some cool, modern sounding classic rock or punk, well that's a formula that excites me musically!
Hey Wayne, man, that rocks! You're really into this harder style. I once had a Gibson Les Paul Standard and initially sent it over the Guv'nor, then later used it over a Marshall tower and I have to say that the Guv'nor didn't look that bad in comparison, of course not a replacement, but not bad after all. I think the synth fits exactly - for my taste it's better than a guitar solo in this track. A great listen .. You are always convincing... Cheers, Micky
I'm glad you liked it, wasn't sure how this would go over. It's a bit loud and in your face with my usual, down on his luck, complaining character that I've been developing these past few years. Hope people don't take these songs as my personal life, man I'd be one sad sack, lol.
The theremin works, I had no intention of putting anymore guitar down, there's enough going on with the distortion on the guitars and the bass. I wanted the solo to be the theremin, it cuts thru the thick guitars, plus it's freekin' cool, lol!
Gaining more confidence in my singing, absolutely. Been working hard at developing my delivery, grit and attitude. It's like performing, you gotta sell the track. Some people have this naturally, not me. I'm a bass player not a front man. Having fun with it.
Wooohooo!!! wanyne's world is always ROCKING! \M/ man I love your energy! and of course that gruff in your voice this is RAD! Excellent work as always. You certainly know how to entertain. WTG! Bravo!!!
Hello, wonderful traditional rock! Very linear. Changing the guitar from right to left is a good idea. Well mixed and mastered. I really like it once again. Since you got this guitar, you've implemented some great musical ideas. Kind regards and a nice weekend, Manuela

I had the 3 chord guitar progression played on one track and panned to the left. Then I decided to add a new track with just the E chord on the right and remove the E on the left channel. Simple change but makes a difference as far as balance in the track.

Another stunning performance ... guitar panning is too good as the "retro" sounded distortion ... very groovy, rolling, cozy track ...
