Fitting Tribute to your grandmother. My wife's Grandfather from Poland survived in a ditch for a year hiding from the Nazis, eventually fighting for the allies in North Africa, came to Canada and started his life over.
Hello! we have a common point: we dig Trip Hop :) Think you already know K&D?
About your track: i really like your music universe, it's dark in the good sens of the word! Nice work, vocals are incredible and the instrument part is awesome too! Big fav for me!
The guitar at 1:56 is awesome. This track makes me think of a dark and gritty big city detective story. It has a pretty cool cinematic feel. The punchy bass is very enjoyable.
Has a lot of cinematic quality. I'm picturing some sort of cataclysmic event, Alien Invasion, Zombie Outbreak, World War 3 etc.. The music sets the right mood and provides the tension throughout. I like that bass line. Nice use of sound effects. This would be a good candidate for the annual Halloween thread.
Man, I just love the living crap out of this piece. You're really skillful and spreading your musical out across the horizontal hearing plane - it really drew me in with like a zombie focus. I'm sure you've got things in mind to make it even better but for me, I really love it just the way it is. I wanna play it in my car as I drive up to Bumbershoot in a couple weeks with my daughter and her boyfriend. I bet they'll love it too. Thank you!
I like to freehand the lyrics and make the track to match. I've come up with some wild ones that way. They aren't posted at the moment. In the meantime, you ca check out The Alligator Butt Cries Tonight. You have done a masterful job of creating a goth track. I know a guy who does a good job on I Am Your Dracula. Your lyrics feel pretty slick. I like their out of left field feel. Good job. vig
So this is really good work. We go to the Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Orlando each year and I can definitely hear this one playing as we enter one of the haunted houses. Excellent work. You should be proud of this one. Keep up the great work. I hope all is well.
The intro is Phenomenal.... when the drums come in we need to have a more bass like EQ structure as it would make a bigger impact. the crow-like sounds and whisper words work well in this haunting work. So much potential. Its all in the mastering and eq. I agree with Alien, bring to the dance more of an up and down fell to the audience and you will slay with this gothic potential masterpiece. Cru
Bigger low end." The Moby song "First cool Hive" off the LP "Everything is Wrong" has the most perfect low end I've ever heard. It really fills up the track yet manages to not be overbearing. If I could get my low end even half that good, I'd be beside myself. If I could do anything half as good as Moby I'd be beside myself. Thank you for your input. I do appreciate it.
Howdy It's actually pretty cool...needs a little work as far as arranging and create some tention... all the elements are there it just needs breaks and tension building. Imho. With love.
