Actually started by a 7 yr old boy playing the MPK mini keyboard with a guitar synth vst - so typically random elements in the construction
Vox are samples from 2 sources - one had that processed Bon Iver sound - the other I manipulated to mimic it

Like the sound but as track it still lacks a bit of structure

Made this a few weeks ago - pleased with the guitar lead which was the first take improvised and unedited (happy fluke). One of my friends however thought it was harmonica - so not sure what that says about my guitar playing or my friends

Description : Again not sure of genre but it is kinda weird. Very much an experiment and Im not sure if it works but someone will let me know no doubt. If you can cope at all probably better with headphones. Pad sound is guitar treated with reverbs, crazy drums constructed from Akai kits and free jazz SFZ kit, sax samples and minimal synth line from arturia minifreak

Gave this a smoother ending March 3 and March 5 tried to bring out the vox a little .. And tried tweaking the vox again March 7

Description : Drums and percs and piano trills drawn from several Akai MPC packs (within the neo sunset expansion) with my bass, guitar and reverse guitar lines and keys, added effects and some manipulated samples.
Not sure about the right genre but it's kinda laid back. I think it is still in need of some more structure to add interest etc. but that still seems a little beyond my skill set atm.
Feedback appreciated.
Description : slow build of beats and I think kind of hypnotic IF you listen to the build! The lyric/ vox seems to be about sexualised violence which (if it is) is NOT cool but I like the sound of it despite the content
Wasnt happy with the mix and now remixed so hopefully sounding better now - mix might still need some tweaking, feedback appreciated.
Description : I guess it's some kind of alt hip hop - a little experiment that should only be 1.23 long but I doubled it! Was not really sure if the vox fits or if this needs something else, or more, etc. but I'm hoping you will let me know and I can ditch it, or tweak it or whatever ; )

Description : Another experiment with my new vst drum machine. Also uses the vst instruments, 1.The lofi northern boarder electric piano, 2.Tibetan Singing Bowl (from decent sampler) 3. A bass preset from Vital (synth) with a sax, percussion and 3 vox samples. Also multitracked my slightly random electric guitar playing.
Not exactly exciting but floats along in a kinda chill way and at least I got the drum machine sounding better now : )
