Description : Haven't been around music for now nearly a year, however, I wanted to share some of the last few sounds I managed to generate. This is the very last project I worked on. I was going for a progressive, electro style with a few genres mixed in such as trance.

Description : A fairly old track that is more or less a combination of electro, techno, minimal and ambient. Pretty laid-back and chilled.

Hope you enjoy.

Description : ////Update 06/03/2010////
Updated the track with what I believe is now the final version. I added a new section of percs to give the track a bit more "groove" and fixed several panning issues with the open highs: previously set to right, corrected so there was better balance on both left and right channels. I also corrected a few kick-drum sections. The most significant change is with additional voices after the break (3m50s). That part always seemed a bit empty; it has now been expanded a bit more. I also made very small changes at the outro: just a few kick fills, reverse-crashes and additional hats. I used vbr encoding to get the most out of size vs quality. somethings do feel better when compared to the standard. A 320 version can be provided if requested.

////Update 05/23/2010/////
Updated the track with many changes. removed some hats from the start and replaced with others. Went back to the mixing and adjusted many instruments. Adjusted delays for the main leads: they feel much better with respects to stereo placement. Adjusted panning of hats. Applied better EQ to basslines, leads, kick, claps, hats and strings: some come through the mix much better. Stereo-enhanced some instruments. Improved reverbs. Changed the way some synths come in: removed some filtration. And fixed a few things. This version definitely feels much better and is likely final: things do feel much clearer and tighter. Please let me know how it sounds on your end. NOTE: the track is rendered at 128k to conserver space, but please let me know if you'd like a 320K version. I will gladly send it your way. 320 definitely sounds allot better than 128.

////Update 05/11/2010////
Updated the track added sfx. Changed a few snare sections and crashes. Modified the drums so they had a bit of groove. I also rendered the file at the highest quality possible before converting to mp3. The last version was a simply 16-bit render and had a few anomalies. I am much happier with this version.

////Update 05/04/2010////
Thanks to Salkizar for mentioning adjusting the drums. I took a look at them and have boosted them up a bit. I also added some things, removed others, so far is near complete.
////Update////
Didn't realize it was set to members only.
Request: I have heard this several times but I am not too happy with the levels. Please let me know how it sounds on your end.

I adjusted a few parts and also adjusted some levels. Feels a bit better.
======

I finally have a final version of this new trance track.

Trance is definitely a genre I love and can never seem to disconnect myself from. So it feels really good to finally have made a trancer. It's been nearly 2 months!

Here I wanted to use some of the ideas from 5 Centimeters and some idm stuff I have done in the past. I am mainly trying to get more idm-ish/glitch style elements into trance and I hopefully accomplished the task.

I typically spen

Description : A track that I've been wanting to revisit to enhance but which I have lost the source to. I'm still looking through all my past emails for the one which probably has the files but I have come short of remembering all the addresses.

Anyway, not much to say with this hope you enjoy.

Description : 06/Feb/2010 Update: Updated the track with changes as suggested by several reviewers. Lowered the reverse piano that was overpowering - Jahknow's suggestion. Also added a bit of distortion as suggested by Michael (still experimenting so it was added on a single area @3m43s). I added 4 additional SFX in certain areas(@1m44s, @2m, @3m12s, 3m58s). Corrected some levels a bit. Added an ending kick that was missing from the last version and some minor panning changes. The changes are minor but they do add quite a nice fullness. Slowly but surely, as they say.

Hey everyone, I've been working on this track since January literally every day. It is the only track I have been working on non-stop and it has somewhat become a headache to work with. lol. I finally have something I can consider complete. I had allot of ideas in mind and several certainly managed to make their way into the track while others, unfortunately, i was not able to include, primarily due to poor planning on my behalf. Basically, some things I thought were "final" and were done in such as way that is now very difficult to go back to and adjust. Lesson learned. :)

I wasn't sure of the genre but it's somewhere between ambient, glitch/idm, and progressive electronica. I wanted to have as much variation as possible in the way things flowed and hopefully I accomplished that. I also applied a few things I've learned with regards to clarity and levels and hopefully the track sounds nice, rich and punchy as well. Please let me know how your speakers react.

This is also my very first glitch-styled track. Might do another to learn more and apply some ideas not able to be added to this project.

And I guess that is all. I really hope you enjoy and please any ideas or suggestions are really welcomed. I struggled a bit with developing the track so please share your ideas.

Thanks.

Description : Update: made allot of significant changes. Changed the intro melody a bit, added more sfx, adjusted the snare amplitude (brought down a tad), added a new melody to go with the existing, adjusted some synths to play longer sections, adjusted some delays, adjusted the end a bit to define the ending part of the melodies (a break); also some minor level adjustments to make room for the new sounds and some minor panning changes to the several instruments. I think now it does feel much more full and complete. hope you enjoy the new version.

Please let me know how it sounds on your side. By the way, I rendered the track at 128k to conserve space, but, I'd be happy to render at a higher quality (e.g. 192k or 256k) if you'd like to get a copy at a higher bit rate.
////---------
Update: added a new synth at certain parts which felt a bit empty, now it does feel allot more complete.
/// ------
I'm actually quite surprised that I managed to make a track. I've been in that "writer's block" phase for some time and I'm glad that some ideas have come. I looked back at some "works in progress" and managed to complete one.

Unfortunately this track does feel unfinished to me in the sense that it eats allot of CPU power and I'm pretty much limited by that semi-disability.

I took sometime with levels and hopefully it sounds right. Please let me know how it sounds on your side.

And I guess that's all, hope that you enjoy; oh, and a happy holidays!

Description : My apologies for so many updates. This is the 3rd and final. Changed the intro.

Had to update. I uploaded the incorrect file. One of the basslines was doubled which wasn't suppose to be that way. All good now. :-)

Hey everyone, I've had this track collecting digital dust for about 2 months. I didn't think I would complete it until today. Not much to say about this track its made pretty conventionally. I didn't concentrate too much on allot of melodies as I usually do with most trance, but I did try to get a nice melody that would fit nicely. Also, I tried to master this one to the best of my abilities based on the things I know so hopefully it came alright. Hope you enjoy. Please let me know how it sounds on your end.

For some reason the upload failed. Re-uploaded.

Hi everyone, I was gladly able to complete this one today. I had this one also in the history menu of my DAW and just had to come back. This track is based on Jupiter's images. The images of Jupiter were first converted into sound then used to create what you hear. Quite warm on tonality and quite bassy as well. Hope you enjoy. Apologies in advance if anything sounds too prominent or likewise, too low. I also rendered this one at 192k as opposed to my usual of 128. Better quality.

I've been working on a project to try and create graphics (images or video) from the Universe tracks which at one point started as a images converted to sound. Here is the result thus far for this track: https://www.looperman.com/users/detail/223506

Made a change to the panning of 1 instrument.

Quick name change.

Hi everyone, here is a track that I worked on a few months back for the "Universe" project. I just had the opportunity to complete it. It was created from image composites of Saturn itself, it's belts and it's surface. The images were first converted into sound and later used to what you hear. I was quite surprised, Saturn seems to be a very warm planet (soundwise). Hope you enjoy.

P.S. Not completely sure about the levels, please excuse, not mastered. Working on that with a fellow looperman legend.

Description : Had to update this track after listening to it today. I noticed it was way too loud. I still haven't got it to a level I am comfortable with, but at least this new version doesn't make your ears bleed or ring. Sorry for that.
///////---------
Updated the track with some changes to the start and also adjusted the levels. Sounds a bit punchier and hopefully better, please let me know how it sounds if you have some good monitors, greatly appreciate it.

This is a trance track I had been working since about September and updated a few days back. I rarely have been making any trance but I wanted to try and finish this up. I guess its pretty finished by now.

To me the track "really" begins at about 50 seconds or so.

My apologies if it sounds too bassy or to harsh or if anything feels too prominent. Also, mastering is not an area I specialize therefore please excuse my dust or mud :)

And, thats it I guess, I really hope you enjoy.

Description : This is one of the last tracks made for the "Universe" "album". The sounds were created from images of the PI symbol and the PI number 3.14. The result was a few warm tones and a bit bassy (sorry for that). Hope you enjoy. This track is also part of the new sien system solo project, since sien system is now only 1 person.

Not mastered, so my apologies if it sounds a bit raw or unclear.

Description : Here is another ambient track from the "Universe" "album". This was the first that was made from images of the andromeda galaxy. The images were first converted to sounds and then used to create what you hear. Quite bassy (sorry for that) and quite warm in tones. Hope you enjoy. This track is also part of the new sien system solo project, since sien system is now only 1 person.

Not mastered, so my apologies if it sounds a bit raw or unclear.

Description : Here is the another ambient track from the "Universe" "album". Probably my favorite. The track was created from image composites of the Omega Centauri NGC 5139 cluster. The images were converted to sound then those sounds were used to create what you hear. quite bright in some tones and also a bit metallic as well. Hope you enjoy. This track is also part of the new sien system solo project, since sien system is now only 1 person.

Not mastered, so my apologies if it sounds a bit raw or unclear.

The images were converted into sounds then used to create what you hear. quite the bright tones. Hope you enjoy, please excuse my mess with any sounds. This track is also part of the new sien system solo project, since sien system is now only 1 person.

Not mastered, so my apologies if it sounds a bit raw or unclear.
