Description : Pure fire by Korrupt Dialect! This one was easy just a few hours and it all fell into place. First a drum loop then two samples some fx , scratches and mixed on my laptop speakers.
Description : Used an old drum loop I posted a long time ago and chopped up a sample on it.
Slapped a scratch hook to it and presto! This could be a dope little track with the right M.C.s on it. Register your interest by reviewing the track.
Description : A true M.C.s track. Crafted some one shot samples I got from my vinyl breaks using some different filters LP HP ect. Then just found an upright bass sample of one note put it in the sampler from Live and made a bass line with the different pitches. After that I layered a couple of ambient sounds and a vinyl crackle loop in and sent them to a return track where I auto panned them. A small vocal hit mixed in and a tambourine rhythm I played from my keyboard. Recored programed and mixed in Ableton Live. Mastered with T-Racks.
Description : My version of glitch hop. Lopsided drums and strange synths.
I would like to do an album of this type of stuff.
What do you think?
Description : Ok so I originally set out to make a few beat box loops. but when I started mixing the parts together I just ended up making a track. The drum tracks are all beat box by yours truly. Just layered in tracks of beat box ,electric piano and upright bass from my key board. Polished it of with a nice scratch.
Description : A remixed version of a Dice One track By lelandchapman(me)
Dice One is an M.C. that I been down with since along time ago.
I made the beat dropped the vocals in and the rest is history.
Description : Used some classic samples on this one. Ableton Live for recording, programing and
mixing. Pro Tools for master e.q. gentle compression and dithering. Just picked out
three drum sounds form three different breaks (Kick,hi-hat and snare) filtered
e.q. and compressed. Programed from drum rack. Two loops combined for the break
down and the main sample was chopped and programed from drum rack.
Description : Made this in Live. Drums from drum rack mixed individually kick snare hi-hat.
froze a reverb from the snare and gated it for ambiance in the drum track.
Used e.q. multi band compression and multi band stereo to spread the hi end.
chorus on the hi hat. Played the the e.p. riff, bass and vox pad from motif. Added
vinyl crackle and boosted air to fill out the sound. Mixed in headphones because
my girl was asleep. I think the low end needs to be tweeked.
This track has a 4 bar bridge after the voice pad sound. Or you could rap over thee
e.p. riff and use the last 4 bars with no bass as a bridge.
Contact me if you can use this track for an album or mix tape.
Description : DJ Premier/Alchemist drum kit i put together and programed in Ableton using
Battery 3. Sample chopped with drum rack in Ableton. Drums and sample smashed
with ozone 4. Whole mix smashed and eqed in T racks 3. How about some feed back jack!!!!
Description : Made this track in ableton 7. Started with battery drum vsti, loaded up a 909 kit
made two drum sequence's, added delay two the hi-hat and reverb to everything but the kicks. Tracks 3 vintage e.q. v-comp,and clipper w/ lots of saturation.
Next the bass line from my micro Korg side-chained to the drums w/ compressor.
I made the vocal from scratch. Used distortion, delay and a beat repeater plug-in.
Some drum filter automation in spots, other texture sounds layered in from motif and micro korg. Rendered and run through Tracks 3 one more time but with opto-comp
instead of v-comp. Not really into tech or house but I was inspired so I did this.
Description : you'll wonder how I did it.........
