Description : Something by Clickbait Cabaret that's bit less, "apocalyptic" let's say. Drum Loops by LM's danke. Vocals are "What I fear/ Morning. I got them off a vocal pack from ghosthack. The rest of the track is yours truly
Description : Vocals, DJ Sample. Main influence for this track, Tricky. You have to comment to download this one. I'm working towards Clickbait Cabaret's debut CD. Obviously it'll be a darkwave/triphop kind of sound, so I need some constructive feedback, on mixing in particular. Everything I post on LM is a demo. It'll all get re-worked for the CD. Whenever the hell that happens.
Description : Vocal; DJ Sample. Drums; The Savage. The rest is me. I mapped the bassline by watching bass tutorials themed on Bootsy Collins, hence the funk vibe. Despite that this is still a Clickbait Cabaret track, so the spooky vibe is still there, hence the trip hop tag. I dig trip hop.
Description : Heavy remix of previous track with different vocals & guitars. Mixed with Waves Abbey Road TG Mastering chain & Izotope Ozone 8, neither of which I've used before. I didn't send this out to be "mastered." It's just my mix.
Description : The Chorus vocal sounds like "Oh Mishuga."I Used a different organ patch from Massive than usual & the Orb to get a slightly more human feel on some of the synth tracks. Boosted the crap out of the bass too. Every track I make is a learning experience.
Description : Demo outline. The "I was born to die" lyric is backward & forward. Some of the drum parts are loops, some I made. I'll likely remake with some changes to the instruments, about 2 minutes longer with instrumental breaks.
Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : It's a first demo. Lyrical content could be considered controversial by some. It doesn't sound like what's typically on looperman either. Then again, what do I ever do that does?
Description : Distorted, heavy on the vocals, lots of swearing. The words are based on a satirical poem I wrote a few years back. It's restructured to fit into the song & be more sinister in feel. I used Vocal finalizer, Scheps 73 compressor, Electric Sunburst, Massive & both synthmaster 1 & SM/KV331. Did my best to D-s the vocal. A new mic is definitely on my short list.
Description : The first track I sing on. Cheap stage mic & no fancy plugins. Heavily guitar laden to the point it's got a bit of a shoegaze thing going on. I pulled the lyrics out of my ass & yes, they're a bit silly.
Description : According to current climate science, we have twelve years before irreversible damage is done. At no time in history has the human race faced anything like this. There's a major change up part way through the piece, which is obvious by looking at the cool ass looperman graphic. So wait for it if you have the patience. Then tell me how great I am or how much I suck. Climate change is real & scary AF either way.
Description : Lead vocal is from looperman, I don't remember who did it & can't find it in the loop section. So thanks to whoever did the vocal track.
Description : After my last track, I thought I might post something a bit more "pleasant." So here's a nice piano instrumental I cooked up.
Description : My grandmother was from Belarus. She was the lone survivor of her family after the Waffen SS massacred everyone in her village during a retreat from the Red Army. She escaped soviet occupied Belarus & through a series of wranglings by the international red cross, found a family to adopt her in New Jersey in 1947. She was 14 years old then. She was the strongest person I ever knew & I miss her terribly. This song is for her.
Description : I wanted this one to be all ominous & shit. The song is meant to be a reflection on the nuclear attacks on Japan & the ominous implications that meant for the future. Loops from LM are the intro by Creepy Pasta & the ending by Rasputin. Synths are Synthmaster & Massive. Drum Synth is Microtonic. The end quote is Robert Oppenheimer on what he felt when he saw the first nuclear bomb go off. The man had a lot of misgivings about his involvement in the manhattan project.
Description : This song is loosely (very loosely) structured from the Porishead song "Strangers," off their debut LP, Dummy. The guitar software is Evolution Strawberry, which I'm having lots of problems with.(Either reaper or my computer doesn't take kindly to the software, I'm not sure which.) The song title is a reference to Charles Manson, who has a vocal bit in the song.
Description : This one's kinda spooky & again, I have no clue what genre to post it under. Essentially, it's darkwave, so "rock" is as close as I can get. The synths I used are TAL noisemaker, TAL-ELek-7ro, Synthmaster 2.9 & Massive. The percussion is the microtonic drum synth & the loops are from all over the internet. One of the chords in the progression is an air raid siren. I like air raid sirens. They sound all ominous & shit.
Description : Drastic remix of the original. Sped up the tempo, added rhythm guitar & some effects, Sounds much better.
Description : screwing around with samples
Description : Idea for a song made entirely from loops off this page.
