Description : Part 1 (under cunstruction)
For more than a year i've search for a style that would be my mainstyle. It used to be darkcore, but that never survived the crash that destroyed my samplelibrary.
I started with 2 main ingredients: breakbeats (no more 4x4) and darkness.
The lead synths and the disortions I used in hardcore soon came back, to give me rough idea to work with. The following months i've tried, I think, every style with breakbeats and slowly discovered new elements. The breaks used in industrial and IDM, the bass used in dubstep or EBM. I've allways enjoyed the way psytrance structered arps to create there complex melody.
Something I discovered here that I wanna try is the use of thema's in my music. Mayby a bit tedious, but I had to start with Tales from the Darkside, because that's what i'm gonna make. So the first 2, both still under construction

This is actually my impression of my hometown Rotterdam. An Industrial city with one of the biggest harbours in the world. And there's always some big building site to add or improve a part of the city.

Description : I made this track from recorded sessions on the Korg EMX.
Drums were recorded individual, then loaded in FL for a basic drumloop. I created a bassline on korgs sequencer on and some sfx .
Recorded half an our of me turning an twisting the filters randomly. Then a started removing the things didn't want and rearranging the rest. Repeated that proces a few times, untill i had this track
