Description : A few of MrF's recently uploaded dirty paradise loops inspired me to put something together, after a hiatus of close to a year. Thanks homie.
** Few words on the sequencing... could use a break somewhere in there so I'll give that some thought, and I threw in a random beat at the end since I just couldn't help myself, even if it doesn't quite fit, I'll sleep on it for a while. **
Description : This has laid back hip hop instrumental written all over it, cheers. The beginning and main melody loops are by HMNN, I can't seem to get away from his mesmerizing creations, big thanks.
Description : Though I didn't create any of the sounds, I sequenced in a way to mash genres into a lil concoction I'll call Electro Funk Dub. Thanks to Planetjazzbass for opening and ending loops.
Description : **Remastered 6/1/2011, my headset was screaming at me for such lame production touches the 1st time around ;)**
I imagine this as being where middle eastern hip hop is going. Various violins throughout make for a cinematic vibe. Big thanks to HMNN for the melody and Sterixx for the beat, those 2 loops serve as the foundation and I just added some icing here and there. Made on Acid Music Studio. -DF
Description : Called it so as it's the beginning of a new year and new aspirations. I consider this progressive tech electro I guess though takes a slight turn at the 2:00 mark when it becomes more glitchy/industrial before briefly revisiting the dominant melody. Don't be shy, drop a line.
Used short FX from Spivkurl at 1:50 mark, thanks friend.
Description : experimental... playing with sounds, how they play off each other... forgot I'd made this fun little gem. hope it takes you on a bit of a strange and unexpected ride...
Description : My buddy and I used to hit midweek raves in the mid 90s and we coined it "Tear It Up Tuesdays". Made the first beats, the bass shots and the bells using EasyBeats on iPhone, kinda my thing lately.
Description : Dreamy (nightmarish) vibe made with many analog sounds. Kind of morph between electronic at start and then flows into DnB. Thanks to looperman Wilobowski for the intoxicating circus sounds.
Description : A unique blend of ambient, chill out and old school hip hop.
Give it a full minute and a half to break into the main funk beat. Thanks to DextDee for two loops (Flex the bells, and Birds) heard at the very end.
Cheers - DF
Description : I've been in a creative slump lately so I'm excited about this track. Still needs some structure refinements but hope you enjoy. Vocal sample courtesy of Cyryus08 (I think tho name has changed?)
Description : You just don't seem to hear a whole lotta jungle these days... here's my first try, created the beats on Hammerhead, briefly used a drum loop from Bizarotrips at 2:10. Get ready for insane beats, try not to have a seizure or conniption. - DF
Description : Blended industrial beats with funky hard hitting basslines to create this fun little anthem. Can you dig it?
Description : Trying my hand at down tempo reggae... love the laid back darkness of this genre. Let me know what you think. - DF
Description : A bit of a tribute to Pink Floyd with my twist, love their vibe. This didn't start off to be as such but I let the sounds take me on a ride, hope you enjoy. I used a couple drum loops I built and posted for upload but others came from this site, particularly the sick bass line which I believe "the" looperman Shan / Serial Chiller uploaded.
Description : [see title] :) kinda trippy, had fun with a couple vocal clips
Description : Something subdue and I put together, it's all about the late night beats. This has a tribal feel about it and is bound to get your head bobbing. Starts off w/ sick eery loop by planetjazzbass. Enjoy.
Description : I'm not usually into explicit language but it's not thugish (rather fun/funny) and I like the groove so much I had to experiment. Thanks to NateMonoxide for the acapella and Shan for synth loop, perhaps among others. Originally loaded few months ago but just reworked.
Description : Bit of eastern acoustic, bit of strings, bit of dnb. Has a slow buildup and an extended break where I included vocals from fellow looperman Stephanie Kay. Have a listen to something a little different.
Description : Progressive breaks meets hip hop meets electro (ya'll know I can't stay in one genre) something I pulled together for a comp some time ago. Big thanks to DustHill for starting beat and strings, and Serial Chiller for reverse cymbal at very beginning. 133 BPM
Description : [ Remake of previously uploaded long (too long) version ]
Big thanks to Mhyst for providing us the full length vocalism. I used a pad loop at 2:56 mark by djmothbeatz and the effect at the very end by profplum. I'm on the fence with the two bridges (1:52 and 2:56) so will let it sink in for a bit.
Description : Gothic meets chilled. Repost from several months ago. I used a reverse cymbal loop from Serial Chiller, though lost track of others, apologies. If you recognize a loop of yours let me know and I'll include in description.
Description : Laid back cosmic vibe, starts off with cosmic loop by SienSystem, the last loop is by planetjazzbass, need to look up others [12/30/10]
Description : COLLAB OPPORTUNITY -- Calling all vocalists! Here's the deal > This track has 3 verses and 3 choruses and I think could sound great with the right lyrics (though considered a straw man). Could be chill out, could be hip hop, it's up to your vocal style. Create your own version and then contact me. I'll consider layering some additional instruments and effects and will repost. Good luck and have fun. - DF
Description : [ final touches 12/11/2010, high quality DL available on my SoundCloud account ]
I see this as a long sequence where struggle is overcome by hope, and finally there's redemption. I've been wanting to do an orchestral-cinematic piece for a while... this is my humble attempt at highlighting my appreciation of piano and various string instruments in an attempt at captivating the essence of this beautiful genre. Many thanks to The Fam for some of the loops used - I deleted user identifiers without realizing impact so haven't been able to keep up and give individual credits.
Description : I'm thrilled with how this track ended up. Raw progressive house. Many thanks to the following on Looperman who uploaded some of these loops: HMNN, profplum, planetjazzbass and most of all sterixx as his synth loops are the foundation of this track. Thanks for listening and reviewing.
