Description : Posting this mainly for those who are interested in using the a cappella vocal tracks - just in case you were curious how I had originally set it. Aiming for a dark, 9-inch nails meets opera singer type sound, did I come close? This uses multiple drum tracks from looperman that I did not catalog well. If you recognize your beats, please let me know so I can give credit, very sorry about that. Thanks for listening.
Description : Some super sweet pop to rot your teeth :) Help me make this song better! Thanks for listening.
Description : silliness. thanks for listening.
Description : Here's the latest - a busy, little track featuring a hiphop loop by Dusthill ("dh beat only" - I sliced it up a little) and dub loop by Peaktweaker. Thanks to both of these artists for sharing their talents!
I am not sure about the soaring synth at 3:20 - I was going for something cathartic, but feel that I kind of stumbled through it and it just sounds busy. I want this to be the part (3:20) where you just let go and feel happy -- ? Anyway, your suggestions are most helpful. Thanks for listening!
Description : revised 1-19-11. electronic rock. its a hot mess but i wanted your input. how to make this song better before taking it to the studio? i think it needs more electronica (okay, and a real drummer) but haven't hatched anything yet. help a girl!
Description : LOOKING FOR COLLAB - I am looking for a spoken word artist to add to this strange, little project. Its about being dragged out to the club by friends when you really just felt like staying home. Tongue-in-cheek. Looking for someone willing to take some input on lyrics and add their spin via spoken word. Download and show me what you've got. Thanks!
Description : Collab between the Program (www.myspace.com/theprogram) and myself. The Program wrote all the instrumental for this track, I sang vox and wrote the lyrics. Hoping for more collab opportunities like this. Let me know if you are interested!
Description : An electronic lament of a friend lost. Used a wonderful looperman beat but sadly cannot find the info about its genius creator. (I have since learned to catalog that stuff better, sorry...) If you recognize, please let me know so that I can give props. Please review and help me improve. Thanks for listening!
Description : This song needs a loving hand to get it to the next level. I've been told it's too short and needs to be exploited (ha ha). Thoughts? Does the bass line bore eventually? Thanks for your thoughts.
Description : slow and moody introspection that breaks into (I hope) thrashy, cathartic beats. what does this song need to get it "there?" Help...!
(and, yes, I am completely leaning on a concept from Chemical Bro's "Where Do I Begin")
Description : i am a baby at this and am just using garageband until i reach its limits. software recommendations helpful, but no funds for upgrades right now. used a microkorg and roland fp2 to play the keyboard and accordion samples. flute and vox, mine. hoping to end up with a dirtier, more ghetto sounding drum line with some slight variations, but haven't come across it yet.
