Description : this is my latest bit of work and it is a killer. it brings the dark side to drum and bass. i have been working on this for some time now trying to work with bass but had a hard time. the track will be called freakin out. i have ambitions to put this on vinyl and mix it. some bits are out of place on this track, its not masterd and is a bad copy but this is just a preview. please let me know how it sounds. dirty track :)

Description : THIS TRACK NEEDS SCRATCH HOOK OR DOPE HOOK OR ELSE ITS KINDA REPETITVE BARE WITH ME I used samples from vinyl with chopped up leland chapman drums on ableton drawn out on grid. Added sound effect from westcoast dumkit with delay, with a sine bass wav pitched down drawn out. Then i took another piece of sample used it as a stab with delay as well with reverb to blend in mix used waves multimaximizer L3 on master didnt do much on each track just limiting IF YOUR INTERESTED ON USING TRACK ON ONE OF YOUR PROJECTS SEND REVIEW AND ILL SEND WAV COPY

Description : This track was written around Hektor Thillet's "Ba-Boom" acapella. It's very spontaneous and unfiltered, Thanks to the wine he'd drank. I thought this would sound best as a "Faux Live" track, and Jazz always sounds best on vinyl.. So, Here is Hektor Thillet and the All-stars (not really) live at the Hollywood bowl on (a Fake) Vinyl 45.
Many of the backing loops, with the exception of two are from Mixcraft. I play three guitar tracks (out of five)
Chords are Amin, Dmin7 add9, Fmin7th and Emin7th. Tempo is 120. This is my first stab at jazz/swing/big band, so be brutally honest. I also have this without vocals if someone wants a piece or wants to collab.

Description : i haven't done anything for a while (have been putting it off untill i had some new software) but my six year old son has been badgering me to death "to make a drum an bass transofrmers track"..... so with my old software i've produced this track, the sample have come from the first film amongst other samples within my packs, the drum loop is my own work where i taken inspiration from one of my old d'n'b vinyl's (the scarecrow - tuttifruitti garbage, joker records) the bass loop is also my own work where i used 3xOsc to manipulate the sound and speeded up the LFO settings..... i've made a dubstep drum loop from the same drum kit an thrown it in as a bit of variation (as seen as i've grown fond of the genre)..... hope you hear something you like!! i haven't spent much time on the track as it was ment as a BIT OF FUN FOR MY SON (as seen as he's freekin mad on transformers) i would love to hear your thoughts (good or bad), thanks for takin the time to read/listen...........

Description : This was inspired by a little software piano sound generator. It would create random patterns, so I messed around with the settings and recorded 2 sequences. I then added a middle eastern sounding percussion and drum track, and ended this short little tune with some seriously messed up piano - scratchy record noise via Vinyl software. Bass was a sample of my electric bass.
Description : hi, on this track i worked hard and long....i tried to create an old-fashioned, jazz-like hip hop beat inspired by das efx, a tribe called quest, portishead etc.....
i started with the drum loop:
used 4 different hihats to create the hatgroove (koreplayer, ezdrummer), bsdrum and snare i took from the koreplayer....
and here is a tip, for giving the right groove to the drum loop i used the spl transient designer, played aarround with attack and release...it works great
created the bassline with the spectrasonic trillian (retro 60's bass), the e piano loops i made with the lounge lizard, the hammond in the hook part with vb3, after the first hook part theres a solo part with guitar and epiano, made it with the electricstrum and lounge lizard.
after all i used the milly vinylli to get some vinyl sounds, layed it over the drum loop and sidechained it.
so i hope u like it and please let me kno what u think about.

Description : A true M.C.s track. Crafted some one shot samples I got from my vinyl breaks using some different filters LP HP ect. Then just found an upright bass sample of one note put it in the sampler from Live and made a bass line with the different pitches. After that I layered a couple of ambient sounds and a vinyl crackle loop in and sent them to a return track where I auto panned them. A small vocal hit mixed in and a tambourine rhythm I played from my keyboard. Recored programed and mixed in Ableton Live. Mastered with T-Racks.

Description : Made this in Live. Drums from drum rack mixed individually kick snare hi-hat.
froze a reverb from the snare and gated it for ambiance in the drum track.
Used e.q. multi band compression and multi band stereo to spread the hi end.
chorus on the hi hat. Played the the e.p. riff, bass and vox pad from motif. Added
vinyl crackle and boosted air to fill out the sound. Mixed in headphones because
my girl was asleep. I think the low end needs to be tweeked.
This track has a 4 bar bridge after the voice pad sound. Or you could rap over thee
e.p. riff and use the last 4 bars with no bass as a bridge.

Description : This is a tripped out happy rap. I used MIDI for the drums, the glowing sound, and the vinyl sound which are all in the beginning. The sounds in the chorus, there are two, were created with my microkorg synthesizer. I originally created this beat on garageband, and wrote the rap and recorded it into Logic.
