Damn happy with the result this track.The name itself suggests that I tried to go deep into 80s-90s House Music which is and will always be fabulous.
The melody and chord progression on this one is really nice.The tune's bright and at the same time a little dark/sad.Bass-line is damn groovy.Payed awesome attention on beats and percussion here.Also added some vinyl distortion so as to reproduce the original effect of old songs.
Mastering and mixing is really good this time.

Description : the factory up the road keeps me awake with clanging all night so i recorded it on a Zoom H4n and fed it through the jam man delay looper along with some other ROIO/ out of copyright stuff like a fight from an infamous vinyl bootleg which i scratched on a Teac LP-400 copy station which was on its last legs and destined for the trash
I replaced the carpet in my room with a vinyl surface which has a much better "live" room sound
also i've been listening to World domination enterprises a lot lately!

laid back sounds over a solid groove, some jazz soul hop. all loops from e-lab. simple mixing. stereo imaging, copious amounts of eq, a little phaser, some airy reverb. had to make the drums a little crunchy to cover the vinyl clicks and cracks in the main loop. x click did a good job at smoothing them out, but it didnt get rid of them completely.

Description : This is the latest version of "Into The Darkness" - I've made some changes and edits. I took account of the comments people made on the 1st version. I've added/beefed up the pad/string section, added some random FX and sounds and also made the edits (every 8 bars and every 16 bars) on the beats less predictable. Description : This is the "sister" track to Constant Temperature Pump. The orginal I done had, shall we say, borrowed vocals on it by artists such as Big Youth, Misty In Roots, The Clash & Renegade Soundwave. Obviously to post here I have lost the vocals and offer it for your enjoyment as an instrumental track. Like CTP it has taken it's origins from the B sides of old reggae vinyl and the dubby sound that was found on them. Thanx for listening & hope you enjoy the track.
