Description : fl studio adobe audition 3 acid pro 5 and a simple synth keyboard and lots and lots of fun
Description : Drum are from an Acid Loop. Guitars are me with an American Fender Strat through a PODxt. I called it Novice because I was never really happy with the way it turned out, but oh well. The synth sound at the begining is actually a stomp effect on guitar. Let me know what you guys think!
Description : This one is done up in Reaper and uses the Orca Bass Synth. I want to thank TravisHuckins for his posting in the message board about the VSTi Orca Synth. Also want to thank Rei for his posting mentioning "Reaper" (another DAW)..... Anyways, I originally started this in Music Maker and decided to start it from stratch all over again in Reaper. I don't have the chorus, nor any drums laid down on this one yet. The Chorus Section when I record it with Drums is Totally Nu-Metal sounding. I'm working toward fusing modern Nu-Metal along with styles found in music that Journey put out. Again, I don't have the bitchen Hard egde chorus section recorded yet.
Description : Uploaded again, this time the track is a bit longer. Fixed some timing issues.
Drum loop created in FL7. Put together in Sony Acid 6.0. Chopped up string and synth samples to make the song more "aggressive".
Description : This was my second recording I did in Music Maker Studio. I'm probally going to redo this cover completely. Since I know how to work the "Beat Box" plug-in that emulates the Roland TR-808 and have been working with drum loops. Anyways, I had always wanted to experiment at doing my own version of this classic song by Phil. I'm using the Silver Synth to deliver a ACID sounding TB-303 bass line. This was my first attempt at using Synth Plug in's, and recording guitar tracks into a project, along with using loops. Constructing a song from scratch and not simply hacking a demo apart as I did for "Jenny 867-5309". I thought I'd share this with you guys for the Hell of it. It's just been hanging out on my Hard Drive for a month now... it's missing the signature drum licks but oh well. After I did this I moved onto working on my first original "Never Here" as my third project.
Description : A hard driving Instrumental Techno/Acid/Rock/Folk fusion track (I've given birth to another bastard song without a main genre). I used the Silver Synth (emulates the Roland TB-303 Bassline) used in ACID music. Same thang I used in "Never Here". I Love the TB-303 sound. Anyways, I used a lot of different loops on this one be it for percussion or sound FX (loops used Techo). Drum loops are Dance/rock style... There's a crafty breakdown near the end, where things transition from different loop styles. I have three electric guitar tracks playing a hard driving scotish-irish folk dirge hook, just cranked with distortion and a little chorus. This is totally a fusion of styles thing. This was something I was experimenting with and was not trying to make into a full length song. Enjoy! BTW, the song is named after somebody who was the inspiration behind me learning to play anything Irish/Scotish/Celtic sounding... Again, another song I can't figure out where it best falls under....
Description : This song is a bit of a fusion between Rock, Techno with an Angry Emo Edge to it. It's about coming to the realization that the other person in a failed relationation was never there for you at all.
This is a work still in progress, up to the 7th Demo.
I first recorded a punchy almost rap singing style vocal track, a sort of thing you might expect in a Linkin Park song. In the pre chorus I sang some parts in A Minor, over top of the driving Em, G, D, C. The Chorus I broken into smooth hooky chorus. I added a Lower Darker Vocal track after some people suggested it. One person turned me onto The song "Nobody" by Skindred, I had never tried singing in a dark low voice like that before. Was a new experience, plus a bit of a challenge to do it with the kind of mic.
This was the first original song I came up with using MAGIX Music Maker (basic edition). The Drum track is from the stock drum loops. I used the Silver Synth plug-in for the Bass lines. Used a few other loops for extra textural overlays. I played the Guitar tracks myself. I did add a second clean guitar track to the chorus and used the Wha effects of Music Maker. So the driving guitar riff is really two tracks laid down of me playing the indentical thing. One Dirty an one clean with the Wha effects.
I produced the first demo in the matter of a weekend, while getting the feel of how the software worked. Following weekend went back and added the second vocal track and made additional adjustments.
I'm hoping to totally redo this song, after I decide upon and purchase software and Hardware. Any feedback on this work in progress would be appreciated.
Description : Welllll, first song with actual loops in it. Made a "track" before, but it was just repeating samples. What I was going for was a feel of something really small, minute, unseen, like a virus (hence the title). used alot of loops from this website, cheers to Bug and P.C. for some great sounds :D
Used Sonic ACID Pro 4, Sony Sound Forge 7, and my Dark Star synth. I'm not into regular instruments, as it's purely electronic music only.
Description : I wrote this one for a friend of mine, he wanted me to score a film scene for him where as he described it "its a showdown between two bad black kung fu chick with afros ready to throw down" he wanted it funky. I had the background drumtrack and looped it, then added the bass with the funky wah wah, then added a coulple guitar parts and synth arts. Its a bit much but he said he wanted it to jump off the scene and really grab peoples attention. It's very funky, very hip hop.
Description : I used many loops from Sim Synth i hope you enjoy ; )
Description : This track came about as i was learning some jazzy chord and i pieced them together and recorded the acoustic track in one take, then i later came back to the track and added synth lines and ambient lead guitar. Its a super chill track. The name comes from me and this chick hooking up knowing she had another significant other hence the "lets not talk about it" hope you guys like.
Description : A hip hop beat i made, trying to do something different than all the bullshit hip hop that is out right now. Has sort of and indian feel to it, but still music to get the party poppin. The beat was made using a drum loop sample that i made, then i added guitars to the beat to show that im a rocker of heart. then added synth lines to added atmosphere. i also had nobody to flow for me so i found an acapella on vinyl by Pharoahe Monch and his lyric slowly fade into the mix. the vocals have an octave shifter on it that i controlled using my guitar pedal to switch on and off, more or less.....something nobody out there is doing, till you guy steal it from me....go for it.
Description : A bit of a twist on house and trance music, had to throw a nice synth and 2 guitars on it....has a preacher vocal i threw with my vinyl. let me know what ya'll think.
the only loop on here is the drum track which i made myself. everything else is all played live 100%
Description : have used 3 different house drumbasses if u dont hear it. som techno synth's and now I have created a 3rd song^^
Hope u like it
Description : old song i did on my mptracker, matching breakbeats, bass, and a fuzzy background synth that makes the song cool, and a violin.
Description : Sounds like a Dance beat but has a Hip Hop vibe to it. I'm not too big on the chorus, but none-the-less it's a good beat. Strong violin riff, simple, but good. And synth at some points.
Description : I used a piano sample from the site, and just added to it with another two pianos, great drums and for the chorus strings, dual guitars and a synth.
Description : Funky drum groove with flowing slide guitar woven together with synth effects to create a sense of flying.
From the Cd "Bio Rhythm"
2005 Quadrasonic Recordings
Description : Heavy electronic tune with lots of barely melodic percussive guitar, an eerie synth melody doubled up with some slide guitar and layed down over a driving bed of straight ahead drums.
Would you like something to drink with that?
From the Cd "Contours"
2003 Quadrasonic Recordings
Description : Got the synth from this site actually, just put it with a beat i made in FL 6. Vocals i didn't even know i had on my computer, but just decided to put them in there.
Description : This song is a mixure of reverse sounds and synths, it begins with a variable synth and then turns more into a trance. This song comes from the album named mindphone restaurant releassed on december 2006
Description : Bought a Roland guitar synth and this track came from using that. Flutes, bass, keys etc all played on guitar. In fact everything was apart from the drums
Description : Song I made using drum samples from looperman, my synth and samples from an old chinese movie Dragonforce Operation
Description : Synth, House drums, selection of basses, catchy whistle, please listen
