Description : A little EZ-listening synth-pop.
Description : One of my biggest musical inspirations was Prince, I never saw a artist mix art with music in the way he did. The way he produced, the way he wrote, everything about Prince inspires me to do what I do. This track is combination of R&B, Rock &,Synth Pop.
(contact for purchase) RIP Prince (1958-2016)
Description : Jaunty synth-pop.
Description : A little retro synth-pop. Please enjoy.
Description : synth pop, synth wave, retro
Description : So, after a somewhat long absence, I am back. I have been experimenting with distortion, my KORG Volca Sample, granular synthesis (again) and music theory in general. I tried to combine a funky bass line, with classical influences and synth pop. I call it "Clunk Pop". Feel free to do the same. Because the song concists mostly of experimentation, some elements aren't perfect still, but I have worked on this thing for hours and I think it is time for something new. I appreciate you listening to my song and would love to hear your feedback. Thank you!
Description : I have taken on the original sound of the '80s, when genres like Italo Disco or Synth Pop had been reigning on the dance floors throughout Europe and beyond. I've tried my best to keep that genuine and unique feel of the era and hopefully succeeded. So imagine it's a hot Summer afternoon back in 1987...
Description : I've been rewatching a lot of John Carpenter movies and listening to the soundtracks. I've also been bingeing on 80's gothic synth pop. So I thought I'd give the genre a go. I had fun making it and added lots of different references. Please enjoy and let me know what you think, comments are always greatly appreciated :D
Update: Levels and EQ on Vox and piano have been tweaked. 1 bar has been removed from the extro.
Description : I wanted to make a very 80's synth pop song and this is the end result. The title is a working one since there's no vocals for it yet. If someone want's to do vocals just contact me and we can go from there. Everything in this song is from Fl Studio. Enjoy!
Description : Just a nice synth pop instrumental I made. If you would like to put vocals over it, let me know and I would love to hear them!
Description : A Looperman exclusive from my upcoming March mixtape. A Spanglish track with a synth-pop beat I produced as well. Hope you enjoy it and leave your thoughts about it :D
Description : Synth pop or new wave or whatever, more like Kavinsky dunno. Was Christmas and my mother played some vinyls from the 80`s so got pretty much inspiration from it. Not the exact sound like the 80`s more like modern 80`s. Sorry about the waveform I think Loopermans player is too sensitive. Cheers!
Description : This track is the first two sections of what will (hopefully) be a three-part piece — essentially a suite. I am posting parts 1 and 2 because I think they are ready for feedback from Looperman members. Part 3 isn’t done yet because it requires Human League style vocals from a singer with a distinct British accent. I have the melody and lyrics worked out. I sent a private message a while ago to a Looperman member who I think has the right voice for the job. But, haven’t had a response. Until I find a vocalist for it, I can’t finish the piece. In any case, the total file size of the complete piece would be greater than the Looperman limit, so it will have to be split into parts anyway.
Parts 1 and 2, in fact the whole thing, were inspired by acapellas posted here on Looperman by Jacques Demers:
If you haven’t checked out Jacques’ tracks yet, you really should. He doesn’t set them up as “featured” so it might be easy to miss them.
The harmony in Jacques’ acapellas sounded very “Beatle-ish” to me, and that made me want to try my hand at doing a George Martin style treatment. I remembered that ScottsCovers here on Looperman had mentioned an instrument called a Mellotron, which was used by the Beatles, the Moody Blues, Genesis, along with other groups of that era, so I decided to use a VST mellotron as the primary instrument for Parts 1 and 2.
The acapella in Part 2 was in a different key than the one used for Part 1, so I needed to find a chord progression in Part 1 that would modulate the key. Jacques gave me some advice on that, which you can see in the comments on his first acapella.
Part 1 has harp, mellotron flutes, clarinet, french horns, and my attempt at a Penny Lane type trumpet solo (but much simpler). Part 2 has a string ensemble, solo oboe and trumpet in unison, and some Daniel Langois type processed guitars. Both parts were recorded at 60 bpm, largely because that’s where the acapellas seemed to sync best. However, I played the instrument tracks freestyle (rubato), so the tempo actually varies somewhat. Definitely not quantized!
There is a storyline behind this track. Part 1 is the blooming stage of a relationship. Part 2 is about the relationship in decline. Part 3, with vocals, will be about ending it.
I’ve included the transition to Part 3 (which will be a more traditional synth pop section) and just a bit of the first verse backing instrumental so you can get an idea of how things are headed in the final part.
Description : The best I can describe this track is 80's synth pop crashes into disco. This is the shorter of 2 versions I have, call it a radio edit:) Although this sounds to me like a mash up of a couple of genres, it still has a simple, retro beat.
Comments always welcome ;P
Description : Well, recently made a new track! I sang vocals on this one. It's kind of like techno or new wave or synth pop. The instrumentation is primarily hardware. The drums are from the Zoom RT-123, the basses are Zoom and Microkorg. The pads are from my Korg DW-6000. The keys are Casio HZ-600. The transition sounds are from the Eat Lead Copper modular synth. Just two virtual synths used on this one. I like how the last bridge vocals turned out. I think it turned out pretty good, but I'd like to hear your views! Thanks for listening! This track is included on the Spivkurl album "Labrynth Of Self".
Description : My latest effort! Kind of techno, with some synth-pop, and industrial. Got some more vocals this time. Hope you enjoy! Edit - Made a new mix today, because I realized I had some messed up EQ's and I backed off a little on the distortion. Enjoy! This track is included on the Spivkurl album "Labrynth Of Self".
Description : NEW WAVE, POP, SYNTH POP..
Description : Yes, yet another remix of Could Be by Jenny Mayhem and Jesse Taylor. Aimed for dreamwave/synth pop/80s-kind-of vibe, I think it turned out alright. Any thoughts?
Description : So here's the full version of the collab between Laura & me (slightly dif from other 1). Dropped the last bit (with other bass loops that I'll add on here later), added some bassy brass & extra drum stuff (percs & more kicks), polished up the rough bits, etc.
Genre-wise, is it House, New Age, Synth-pop, Cinematic? Eh, bump it... I'll just through it into Dance again (feel free to voice yer opinions there though). Yall should def play this with a woofer (for full experience). Hope yall get a kick out of it & for those who haven't heard the original here's a link to it...
And here's her SoundCloud page if ya wanna check out her stuff...
Description : As many of You know, I have the great honour and pleasure to collaborate with nice swedish mr. LEfluer, who makes such nice synth pop songs.. Have just got two songs some days ago from him to work with with lyrics etc.. Today I startet this and could be fun to know if You like the singing style like this or You think it shall be more hardcore/new waved/synth styled.. Of course he will decide, cause it's HIS melody.. But could be nice to know Your opinion too..
Description : I love listening to this track and I'm not sure why but it's a little different from the beats I usually make. I really feel like the lyrics could determine the overall mood of this one but please check it out and let me know what you think. Having trouble with fading out songs using Logic Pro so it ends abruptly, fixing that now :/ but It's a combination of hip hop strings, an edgy guitar, pop synth, pop keys, an old school kick and some live horns ... I appreciate any feedback :D
Description : 2. Version..
As You maybe already know, I make a lot of tracks in different genres.. My grounded and old taste is new wave, rock and synth pop (much like the 80s)..
This track is a blend of garage, new wave and soft punk I think and some pop.. I made first version yesterday and this 2. version this evening.. Will still estimate, if there is too much distortion or something... Then I might refine it sometime..
Hope You like it.. s Refined or not..
Description : A bit of hip-hop, synth-pop, and a little bit orchestral.
Description : This is a synth pop kinda 80's like song that i hope you will all enjoy. it took me a while to make this but im very proud of it. Please review and tell me whether it is good or bad thanks
Description : SYNTH POP WITH ORCHESTRAL OVER TONES AND OFCOURSE CHIMES
