Description : With the success of Gilbert's first vocal track Fallen Angel, Gilbert new it was time to bring out another. However, Distant Existence had already been in production long before Fallen Angel was even a basic melody in the studio. Gilbert & Gabriel had been working on Distant Existence for quite a while. As you might hear, they went for a more rock'n roll/Trance vibe. Because of their schedules with school and other responsibilities where they just now able to finish up & announce their collaboration. This song does indeed play a unique role in both their lives. If you're in a good mood then perhaps you ought not to listen to this....I gave articulation to my emotions in this track and was going to call it "left in sadness".....so into blues it must go.

the mastering is a bit raw on the edges, but i think it works ok for this track.
I was working layers of guitar textures and drum kits.I used different reverb set ups on each instrument to create depth and cause the melody to form some sort of wall of sound.
There is a spoken word voice on the back ground wich is a mix between a acapella i found lost in a friends tape and a sound recording i did in a airport.
Looperman, needs to add another genre, Experimental.this track doesnt fit anywhere.

Description : This track was made back in late 2008 when i was really startin to dig this drum n bass ting. I saw Pendulum live and loved their drum n bass "live rock band thing" goin on. That inspired me back then, and I've always played guitar and wanted to use it in a drum n bass track without being too over the top as to be the main element, and i also wanted to include a live feel to the drums, so i spent a bit of time fussing about with them in Live's Drum Rack with some carefully sampled snippets of a few tracks i was listening to at the time. I think i slammed this one in Izotope Ozone quite a bit on the master buss, but anyway.....you live n learn. Sort of adds a gritty edge to i think. Anyway, hope you dig it. Bass includes the use of NI's Massive & guitar through NI's Guitar Rig 2. Enjoy responsibly

Description : So, with a head full of ganja last night I was in love with this one. Still a work in progress, though. Mandolins with club and glitch-hop beats. I thought it was a great fusion piece but giving it another listen today, it sounds more just straight folk-rock. What do ya'll think? I wanna make it a bit more obnoxious/weird. Thinking I could do that by simply turning the volume up on the glitch beat. Just one idea.
Description : Wasn't sure if this should go in the metal or rock or industrial category. A mixture of all 3 but all acoustic drum samples switching from rock beats to double bass-laden metal drums..The working title was Puke Blood Forever, just to let you know..interesting and aggressive but it's got a mellow side to it also.. a looming bassline and some stabby guitar (samples) Has a NIN feel to it.
