Description : I love reading scifi. One of my favorite books is The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. It's about mankind's discovery of another world through music drifting across space. The planet was called Rakhat. I hope the novel is made into a good movie someday. In my mind I imagine this type of music being played during the opening credits. It's composed entirely from loops included with the Sony Acid Music Studio 7 software.

Description : second attempt at the opening track for the LP i'm working on. the first was mostly just dicking around so i completely canned it. it's really rough and i plan on rerecording the main guitar and adding bass or drums. it's going in the right direction though. i like the abrasive, chaotic feel, like the guitars have tourrette's.

Description : This is the third update to this track. Improvments to the intro, placed some drum fills and cymbol crashes in the opening section. Made some changes to the lyrics of the first verse. I need to address some issues with the section that leads into where the chorus is going to be. All good things in time. The Mix is still rough and raw.

Description : This definitely is a headphone listen... it's my epic sci-fi futuristic cinema track featuring Eshar's poem acapella. Within seconds of hearing Eshar's voice I immediately started imagining a film opening, a narration from the films hero, setting up a "save the world" type story. I uploaded the first 7 minutes (or looper edit), I'm still working on finishing the now 13 minute track.
Using multiple loop sounds, swells and feedback I made a moody pad type opening to really capture some mood in Eshar's reading. Then I wanted to pulse into a slow opening to try and draw you into the story then a little surprise break out and back into more mood. It's got a kind of dnb meets industrial vibe to it but still plays as a cinematic backing. Made with Sony loops and of course Eshar's very cool pella'. Hope you enjoy it, I like the way this one is looking. peace.
Description : Don't know what genre this is so I listed it as weird. It all started from a dnb beat from DJ FredVal, the opening beat is two FredVal beats I stacked and then embelished from then on. I wanted to create a dark landscape of kinda chill dnb that has a cinematic flavor. I dropped in another synth loop from FredVal with the other Sony loops I used. Again my lack of experience is showcased in my final mix...lol... still playing around with levels and kinda lost the thump and thickness I had earlier, but then we get into peak issues...argh the madness of learning...hope you like it regardless.
