Description : ok, so I came across a book of CDs of Old Indian/Hindi music... and I went on a Sampling Spree!! I have no clue what they're saying, but if it sounded like something I could work with, it was being sampled!! LOL. Of course I had to add my Old School bounce and beats to it, mixed it all together and got an Indian Loop Soup!

Description : Need a Rapper! As you can see, old school is my thing. This beat has a mellow jazz piano loop (not from here) with an old school bounce, subtle changes, and straight forward flow. The perfect canvas for a smooth rapper spittin on da mic while pullin on a blunt between the breaks.

Description : This house track was made back in late 2007 before i was infected with grimy jungle fever. Featuring vocals & lyrics from my old school buddy Vassilios Vassiliou. Linplug's Saxlab Vsti features heavily on this and some nice home made quenching drink pouring sounds on the rocks do too! Ahhhhhh....Glug glug glug glug......Burp!

Description : Straight forward Blues on a Telecaster Guitar. I used the lipstick (neck) pickup a line 6 tone in Pod Farm that is a Jazz chorus emulation customized with spring reverb. No delays no effects outside mild chorus/spring reverb. Just Old School clean toned blues. There are 8 tracks(backing /fill) of guitar here.

Description : Lead line came to me one afternoon, the rest followed quickly. Quick arrangement and a fairly decent mixdown. I had already been rebuilding my samples repository and the Babylon 5 quote sprang to mind.
Contains basically 5 parts; the lead, the arp, 2 basses and a string (single note). All synth sounds are from my Roland Fantom Xa with effects and FX from Cubase.
Sounds a bit too old-school for what I'm looking to do but hey, I'm rusty after a few years away and its a start! Enjoy.

Description : Thanks to Looperman user Epise for allowing me to use acapellas and song elements. All other work is on this song is of my own design.
NOTE: I am old enough to remember how back in the day there were promo records that were released to DJs. Often on those LPs there were extras besides the remixes. These were dubs, acapellas and leftover beats. The leftover beats were always my favorite because they were the different parts of the other remixes all thrown together. They were at time repetitive but still rocked. Most DJs would only sample bits and pieces of these extras but when I was a DJ I would often play the whole track as a song of its own. This song here is a throw back to that era. I welcome criticism but if you are going to give me a negative critique please do it from an artists and or DJs point of view. For them that dont know what leftover beats and dubs are please dont bother. This was made for DJs and people that can appreciate the old school. Enjoy.
