Description : I knew absolutely nothing about producing music about a year ago. I think often times change is so gradual that it's not very detectable. I think it's helpful to go back to where you started.
So, I went back to one of my first few tracks I made, and boy did it sound terrible!!! So I spent an hour or two tweaking a few settings like panning, EQ, compression, reverb etc. I know I still have TONS to learn but I see a big improvement with mixing from my start. Description : This song is much more mysterious and "scary" then all the other ones I've uploaded here on looperman. The reason for this is simple: I create every track for a specific book I'm writing. It's not a story full of fantasy, adventures and drama, but a story which is way darker and scarier then SnowFire. I even gave the track some noise to make it even more atmospheric.
I called this track "Silent Voice", because it is supposed to represent a situation in which the protagonist is alone at home. He's working on his computer and unexpectedly he hears a voice. A voice which whispers his name over and over again, but every time he tried to listen closely to it, she falls silent. As if he had imagined something that wasn't there..
