Description : Made with FL Stupido.
Uses Looperman stuff:
Description : My salute to James Jamerson, one of the most influential bass players in modern music, he played unaccredited on dozens and dozens of Motown number one hits and as a kid I loved that music and still do. The secret to JJ's tone is quite simple, a Fender Precision bass, flatwound strings and a foam mute.....and last but not least learning how to play with feel.

Description : a little ambience with some 60's bop with a Motown beat
Description : here's the list of sounds used for this project:
Description : an unrepentant nod to Motown - my daughter Laura on vocals, fab.
Description : My remix of Motown 2000 - A song by Killabits
Description : i made the horn loop and the rock drums i got the motown drums from gargeband and the bass loop from here hope you like it
Description : New and final mix on this through a pair of Yamaha HS50M monitors. This is the last song from our forthcoming cd release. "To save this love" features a six piece horn section including a baritone sax for that added Motown line. I recently bought a secondhand Cry Baby wah pedal and WOW this thing = instant funky shaft sound and feel... I have recorded the vocal parts lead with a octave down harmony to thicken it out slightly. I have also used vocal counterpoint at the end of the track to finish it off and I think it works pretty well!
As this is going onto cd all comments are welcome towards the general mix of the track, so if you hear something let me know. All instruments on this one I did including the vocals..
Description : *Bit of a restructure"This is in memory of my dad who passed away recently. He was a motown nut and i grew up listening to those records. Bit of chopping, and i think its come out pretty cool. Nice old sounds. Still refining the structure a bit, as ideas come through. Not sure about the intro or outro, but i think it has some really head nodding sections in there.
Description : I made this usin an old 60,s motown track.Lemme know what yall think.Peace!
Description : (Edited again) A string heavy composition. All loops from Garage Band. Club beat/motown drums/orchestral stings/claves. Trippy trance around a minute into it. Extended the time, put a little ceramic drum in the trance part. De-fxed the Strings to make them the centerpiece.

Description : This is a track with these ingredients:
Two dobros, congas, a timbale, a snare roll, a human beatbox, ringing guitar chords, a rocker bass, a tamburine and a broken beat,- mixed with my favourite motown drummer. The lead singer is from break-beat paradise, and everything else are apple loops, done with garageband.
By the way: These loops are really good, but it makes me sad, that apple and break-beat paradise do not mention the artists, who produced them.
Description : The structure of this track is very simple: A well known tune from the 50th or so, i found as a free loop at macloops.com, a Belgian Drone, very nice singers, a Hip Hop beat, a male rapline, a synth and the best of all: a chilling motown drummer at the end of the verse. The verse is repeated two times.
New: I added now to the second verse a banjo and a fiddle.
Description : Made in Garageband only used a Motown Drum Loop
