Description : Alright, so, I've tried to expand my sound a little bit. I'd best describe this one as house with a dub step twist. I thought, what the hey, and gave it a shot at my first full on drop in a song. I was trying to experiment with the wall of sound technique instead of a more traditional minimal break down. For the vocals, I have some hip hop samples I've chopped in appealing ways. Hope you guys and gals enjoy!

I have used EZkeys for the piano (a recent acquisition) and EZdrums for the kit. The remaining patches are from Logic Pro 9. The single note pick guitar rhythmic thing is my Casio MG510 and the solo (with a patch from Logic) my Godin xtsa. There is a guiro, some congas and a triangle for additional percussion too.
I have tried to be as minimal as I dare with this and hope the lazy feel and mix provides a nice backdrop for the vocals. I've put the genre as pop but I'm really not sure!!

Description : A friend asked me if I had any tracks that just had "me" playing on (no loops, programming or samples). I realized that I didn't.. so here's a quick effort.
This is a jazz standard - Herbie Hancocks "Maiden Voyage". All instruments played by me 'live' in 1 or 2 takes with no editing (except for some quantization on the drums) and minimal effects, so its here warts and all:

Soprano Sax
Drums & piano recorded midi into Logic. Woodwinds recorded with a dual AKG micromic/Rode NT1 configuration. All mics/DI'd through Apogee Duet. Only effects are compressor on the bass/drums, and a reverb & limiter on the overall mix. Unfortunately Looperman restricts uploads to 10mb, so I've had to dial back the encoding quality to 112k on the mp3.
