As they worked desperately to collect the wisdom of the Galactic Empire before its predicted collapse, every scholar on Terminus knew that each entry had the hope of shortening the Dark Ages that would follow. Description : Well this is my first attempt at combining my love of metal & d&b. It sprang from some ideas i had while playing around with DrumCore and messing about with my guitar and the POD Farm plugin, using Live7 as a host.
Edit:I've added a synth part and layered some of the original guitar part in.
2nd Edit:I've played around with the drums towards the end and also changed one of the vocal samples. I've also tried to tighten up the mix somewhat although it does get a little muddy in places.
3rd Edit:It's been chopped! :O Thank you to members who commented ;) Also tried to bring out a little more bass and a little more crunch....aaaaand i've had to redo the mix....sry for another quick update....
Ok I've bowed to the pressure....170bpm....and some extras ;) Soft Synths are from Novation and NI. I've beefed up the kick and snare a little as well as playing around with the rhythm in places.
Another quick update...more bassline...more fx....more snare ;)

Description : Laid-back kind of jungle track.. Pretty cool track, I really like making this kind of ambient sort of jungle..The bass line is kind of repetitive, think i could of added a reese in there but i'm kind of sick of them at the moment so it's clean.. Ton of FX and hip hop samples. And as usual produced in FL 8 and post prod. done in Audition.

did not focus a lot on the bass works but used FL boobass to back up the riffs.

Description : The word unrepenting is a severe brutalisation of English, although it is a dictionary term, it seems, sounds and looks wrong. Gloria of course is Latin for "Glory be to God". The combination of the two opposing terms is what this song achieves to great extent - Grinding Industial Metal and D'n'B more so than I usually permit myself - The whole track in individual parts works like the word unrepenting as to the fact that the sound and feel is completely wrong - but mashed together the track forms a surreal blend that inevitably becomes aural treat. Everything is either recorded or written in graphic score by me in FL Studio - Enjoy.

I began with electronic sounds leading to a metal sound that provides a background to sci fi melodies. I used Acid Music Studio and some loops from this site.

Description : Wrote this back in November 2007 when i was still listening to a bit of metal. Especially Godsmack. The ONEMB name is the name i released it under = one man band, i release only my electronic stuff under The Krakafaktri title.
All instruments played by myself including the vocals, which i'm not real proud of, especially the lyrics for want of a better word, but it was better than leaving it instrumental. I aint one for writing lyrics or stories ya dig! I aint much of a lead singer either, im better suited to backing vocals or stuff in my range capabilities. So bah!!! Anyway, Guitar was played through Steinberg's Warp VST, Delay from PSP84 VST with BT Phaser PH2s, Bass in NI's Guitar rig 2 & Drums were originally played by me on my Yamaha dtxpressII midi drum kit through NI's Battery 3, then edited further to make them tight, due to latency issues, they were not very tight too begin with. But you deal with that. Vocals through the Rode NT1-A through .....wait for it...Waves C1 gate, Nomad Factories Analouge Signiture Studio Channel, Lives compressor, Waves Doubler, Lives Simple Delay & finally ..Nomad Factories Liquid Delay.......now do you want fries with that? OK, so all in all, i think the production was not too bad for home made metal. Dig it or die!! ha ha ha!!! Don't take this track too seriously.

Description : Wasn't sure if this should go in the metal or rock or industrial category. A mixture of all 3 but all acoustic drum samples switching from rock beats to double bass-laden metal drums..The working title was Puke Blood Forever, just to let you know..interesting and aggressive but it's got a mellow side to it also.. a looming bassline and some stabby guitar (samples) Has a NIN feel to it.
Description : Uploading three tracks today reflecting my eclectic style. This is a heavy/industrial one. Starts heavy industrial, ends chill house. Named after a really nutty ex roomie of mine. All samples, some of which I cut up and tailored to my needs. I'm especially proud of this one section where there is a sound effect of a metal door slamming repeatedly. It flows with the music but is just off enough to be obnoxious. As usual, don't be afraid to be brutal with feedback. i can take it and i wanna learn.
Description : Industrial Entry for the All Genre Competition. Totally out of my comfort zone with this one, I'm talking way way out of it but thats the thrill of producing music right ? So yeah, its an industrial track I made with some tight drum work, some synths and FX sounds, a few pads, tweaked a deep metal guitar riff I got from this site and layered a weird glitch acapella from loop member Tommyb ( thanks man ). This track is so insane for me that I'm loving it - I mainly do hip hop or chillout so check it out and let me know what ya'll think ( at least appreciate the huge genre jump - lol ). Description : This is an early experimentation with metal loops from this site. I have two cats who helped me out with this one. One is mellow and social and the other is hyperactive and bounces all over the place. I tried to capture both in this song. It was a song I just did for the fun of it and for my kids entertainment. My kids find it an accurate musical descriptor of our two cats. Enjoy.
