Description : Another track in my recent series of Christian music. Done in the style of soft rock; it's a slow song and I gave it a much gentler touch than my normal tracks.
I used to play guitar and sing this song during worship portions of church services from time to time. As the Worship Leader, I tried to fit this one in about every six weeks or so because it is such a good, meaningful song to do. It always moved me to the core.
I am performing all except for drums which I wrote in MIDI.

I recently watched a movie on Netflix - "Imperial Dreams," I believe it was called - a great film about the odds stacked against ex-cons trying to live right. The system doesn't want you to succeed because prisoners are commodities that can be exploited for profit. That's why there's so many of them in America, land of the free - more than any other country on earth, including China, a totalitarian state with 4x our population. And yet we sit meekly by and applaud the disastrous war on drugs as it continues to destroy the lives of millions to no good purpose whatsoever. OK, jesus sorry, there I go again.
