Description : made this song on fl studios, 100 bpm. mostly piano and horn.
Description : some inspiring moments.
Description : Looperman Christmas
Jazz Trio version of Silent Night, starts off slow, but it gets there... sorta
Description : Yeah, not really jazz... the beginning is I guess, but then it kinda breaks down into a sorta Drum And Bass kinda style...
I did this for my Interactive Media coursework, was given the three samples at the start, built the crux of my song around them, then added the rest (which was chosen by me =D).
So, yeah, enjoy. Reviews would be great too =).

Description : This is a simple Jazz standard progression I made on piano with smatterings of blues and gospel, brought to life by the exceedingly talented father & son combo of SlapJohnson and Alexander Bone
It truly is amazing what these guys can do to a simple backing!
Description : Another chill, acid lounge track that kinda came out of nowhere, playing around with beats. I really wanted to try and see if I could do a lounge track with a kind of dnb feel. I added in the usual lounge ambiance - organ loops, some sax, trumpet, and clarinet...to jazz it up nightclub style - then wanted to break out at the end...(once the bourbon hits) I threw in some crazy brass - a little influenced by weird Zorn stuff - for a chaotic ending. Hope you like it. peace.
Description : i actually don't have a title for this one...i made it cause i got my hands on Guitar Rig 3, so i made this song to test it out...this is what i came up with. (it's not jazz, i know...but it is in the end, i think)
i've been told this song could use some vocals, but i suck at writing lyrics and singing, so if anyone would like to add some singing to this tune, please, do...
Description : This is a collaboration between SlapJohnson and myself. A fusion of industrial and jazz.
Description : This is a jazz song that i play on the piano when i get moody. but i stuck it through NI massive and blew it into a Dnb groove.
Description : This is a "Smooth Jazz" track; played bass and arranged. Also featuring some wonderful sax work by "Slap Johnson".
Description : I have tried to go back to a jazz standard feel on this track, so no big horn sections just drums, bass, guitar and percussion as a rhythm section, sax plays the head, with the flute breaking the lead up from the sax to add another melody flavour. All instruments by Slap, drum by sonic foundry.... All comments welcome Cheer Slap...
Description : jazz standard My Funny Valentine
...Piano - PedroCasillas...
...Sax - Slap Johnson...

Description : Just a wee bit latin jazz n that like
Description : "Jazz+Funk Genre"
This work is from learning on FL S 5 to splice and dice as us old mixers would say on tape,
Im so old school, been on this song for a month and I think I have the hang of it? Please let me know what you think.

Description : All of my favorite things here, Jazz, dark Electronics and a bit o Metal... I found this one jazz loop that reminded me of those great old Noir films - so I took that and added in some darkness with fx, brass, elec guitar and beats. Some of the brass is reversed and filtered to add an eerie feel. I don't know what to label this as so I just picked Fusion. Hope you like...peace. Made in Soundtrack Pro with mostly Sony loops.

Description : bouncey electro tune i made while messing round with instruments id never normaly use but this seems to of come out quite well although needs bit of sorting out and mastering. let me know what ya think!
Description : acid jazz track with quite an ambient feel, much inspired by St.Germain
Description : just a wee jazz blues progression i've been messing about with, in a trio surrounding
Description : Just a very simple Acid Jazz song, made much in vain of Tom Browne / Lenny White, however a whole lot more simple,
more a exercise getting to grips with Reason 4, and a strive to cure Latency issues
Description : i've been playing with this for a month or so. I keep trying to make it better but it kept gettin worse. So I just left it alone. My first jazz attempt,. I'm not sure If this really qualifies as jazz, but all comments are welcome. This was also done with Reasons.
Description : This beat has a little funk, jazz, and bass, with some attitude. Check it out.
Description : Here is a new one from my ever-growing collection of Lounge tracks. Again I want to make my own style of instrumental chill/lounge - I love the old cliche' sounds of this genre, which is why this "cocktail" required lot's of standard ingredients - all mixed in...Jazz organs galore, upright bass, electric piano, jazz piano, electronic and natural drum beats, and of course amples of xylophone...87 different loops in all...lol. It starts out pure retro-lounge and slowly builds into a more modern drive with a cool edgy synth track I got from a fellow looper (if you recognize this as yours - please let me know, I download so many and the file names are numbers?) I had to add in some Slap Johnson sax for good measure as well. I feel like I have quite a few more lounge/chill tracks in me, but for now listen to this one and let me know if you catch the vibe...haha - peace.
Description : trip hop acid chill jazz track featuring Amelia June on vocals again, lots of sound atmosphere and special syncopated accents to support her lyrics of a broken soul.....Co Psychotropic Circle feat. Amelia June 2008
Description : I wrote this with wanting to capture two completely different genres in one song, and somehow infuse the two at the end. It just happened to work that jazz and hip hop were the two that came to be, and given New York's rich history in both, I based this song on what it might be like if 1930's 52nd Street met the 1970's Bronx and they decided to collaborate. Keep in mind, I threw in some of my own flavor, but I think this may be what it might have sounded like. Now if I could only make a time machine to see if I was right... Please let me know what you think, I welcome all feedback. Thanks for listening.
Description : groove is my passion, and this track is a pure funk groove ... thx to Mr.Robot for his faboulus bass vst, this tool sounds awesome!! jazz piano is played by me, but my playing is by far not as good as I want (I'm playing keys only for a couple of weeks now ...) so I tried to do the guitar parts a little better ... lol ... the two drum loops are from sony ... the rest is me, as usual .... peace, rei UPDATE SEP 2010: I changed the chords a little bit to bring in some variation .... ;-) .... peace, rei
