Description : Here's my track for Barry's Blue Tooth competition. It's my first track on Looperman, and my second attempt on using loops and beats:).
I adjusted the tempo to 120, made some tiny changes to the chord progression, kept all drum tracks (but nudged them one beat to the left to get a different feel), kept the keyboard and the electric guitar (but chopped it up, faded it in and out and reversed bits of it). Then I added some looped guitars and some perc.
I played my midi keyboard and made a new bass line, strings and some other stuff. Then I wrote lyrics, inspired by a trip to Istanbul in Turkey in March. If I had more time I probably would have made the song a little longer;).
Thanks to Barry for an inspiring competition and to everone whose loops and beats I've used!
Description : this awesome acapella was given to me by Mrdoll - it was an inspiring acapella that just made the music flow - if you like to dance this one might just hit the spot - I hope you like it it stayed a 155bpm of pumping beats
Description : This is the first song with the collaboration of Barry Morgan from the US. He is a great musician and took care of the orchestra and cello's. A very fine friend to work with. The song is about the death of my uncle Gerry. A very inspiring man and so young for his age. My cousin did the vocals and Tineke Lemeer played that beautiful flute. I played the guitars and made the final production. Hope you like this one.
Description : Basically a very inspiring and productive session!
Description : some inspiring moments.
Description : Okay, I first heard this song last winter...and I fell in love with it. So I summed up my courage and asked the wonderful Tom Kelly if I could collaborate with him on this one...
It was my first collaboration with anyone...
And now I guess its safe to say we're GREAT FRIENDS!! Always inspiring me, and if anything, Tom... here's the sucky ass collab we did (on my part)... although I'll work on it more. I promise you. You deserve it :)
