Description : I know that it's early in the game for Christmas music, but this is easily one of my favorite melodies, period. It is a song that I have been meaning to record for years, and finally it's done. I started throwing around the idea of a looperman Christmas album with some of the members here and naturally Slap was the first one that I contacted, as I figured he would add something lovely and distinct to this track. Description : This a piece I was working on, I was trying to understand how the sidechain compression works.
I used the Korg Legacy vst, and sidechained it to a simple 4x4 kick, which is muted.
I went for 80's drums for some parts of the track, after listening to some old Joe Smooth...

He very kindly did an extra guitar part for me to use too!!! I have made it as trancey as possible and attempted to give it a feeling of euphoric uplifting trance at the break that has given inspiration to the new title.
I felt that it wasn't getting enough plays with the original title, and I also think the title did not reflect the whole "vibe" of the mix I have created. (No offence Barry. Your title worked fine with your original version)
It was difficult to mix coz i was using a fully mixed track already so the levels are a bit loud in places. You can hear Barrys original version at:

Made this song for my little sister, she was wondering how to use fl studio and she likes trance music, so she wanted me to do a semi dance/trance track for her, let me mind you she is 12, so i couldnt bore her w/ my mellow slow tracks, so this one is a bit hype.
