Good to participate this year in the annual Halloween thread!Just some freestyle playing (slightly sloppy since i'm not used to this guitar) trying out my newly born Boneshaker guitar a 4 string fretless 25 1/2 inch scale, the lowest string being a bass guitar string, played with a wood pick and bone slide, buffalo horn nut and bridge, my own handwound bone pick up. You can run but you can't hide, the apocalypse is coming! Zombies will rule the earth.

Description : I've been a fan of Jeff Lynne's music since I first heard ELO back in the 70's. His production style is unique and pretty awesome, to say the least. I tried doing this one because it's mostly guitar based and it's a fun song. I would like to thank ferryterry for his horn loops I used in the lead. Fender Strat Squire into a Fender Bronco for guitars. Lots of singing. Added some cello but sparingly. Changed my master track effects setup and worked more on gain staging, seems to have helped.
Description : This track features the vocals from Soulful Disco Acapellas, The Drums , Bass and Guitars, from Funk Up, construction kit. Horn from an assorted loop packs, Clavinet from Rare Funk Grooves, and I added FX. I hope you enjoy it.

Description : The beat was made with a mix of 55 BPM and 110 BPM.
The blues slick in the beginning was reversed and used as the spun horn mix behind the percussion. Opening loop courtesy of Loopermans @Nightingale.

Description : The other day, I recorded my drive home from work, and used the sounds from my pickup truck to recreate the into song from the first gen Pokemon games (red/blue/green). A lot of cutting and re-sampling, and for the sub-bass I tossed a sound of my door closing into Serum and picked a nice sine-like single cycle from it and used that to synthesize the bass. I cut the sound of the horn into super-small pieces and repeated them really fast to build the lead. My pickup is a diesel, so the exhaust has a lot of noise in it and covers a good portion of the frequency spectrum, so i used it as a kind of wide-stereo pad. sound of my keys layered with the door for a snare, and the ding from the dashboard and the horn made up a couple more instruments. No sampler plugins, just pitch-shifting everything on the timeline and EQing and other FX etc... Tell me what you think of this experiment!
Description : Used the English-Horn-1 sample from dcmack. This was what I came up with after about 30 Mins. I have a new version. Just waiting for Loop Upload Rights

Description : Hello, this is one of my rare experimental track made to honor some friends who play the same video game. Also, Evil horn started to grow on my head after making The Grim Reaper industrial metal song. So that one is slower, softer, ambient, and its a friendly battle Piano against Violin who both won at end. The concept is the Piano start to play some notes them the Violin
repeat. Finally I did record myself playing on my midi controller for the Piano notes.im so proud of the result :)
Description : Dark, slow, ambient, cinematic jazz with funereal piano turning into something much funkier, psychedelic and beautiful in the second half. Out of the darkness and into the light, you could say. Instruments: electric guitar + bass, lots of synth sounds, including a horn, double bass, another big legato bass, pizzicato strings, two types of piano, a heavily delayed slide guitar instrument, zither, synth arp, one brushy drum loop, kettle drum rolls and 4 programmed acoustic drum kits. This is quite a special track for me and is only the second I've put in the cinematic genre. The more you listen, the more it changes (it even has key changes) and the last three minutes are really quite far out and should probably be longer. Best track I've made for a few months. Interesting thoughts and reflections appreciated. Free sex for the best reviews...
Description : "Oh no - not jazz metal! You're not supposed to mix those genres together." Yes, but someone's got to and the musical gods have chosen me for the difficult task. 9 mins of instrumental jazz metal - damn I sure know how to write a hit song - US No 1 here I come. Anyway - there's some dark, swinging groovy jazz, with Rhodes and guitar as the main instruments, for a few minutes and then some haunting, thumping evil breaks loose. Look out for the powerful synth horn sound. And then it just gets heavier and heavier before returning to some nice chillgroove funky mystery jazz. Instruments played and/or programmed: electric guitar, bass guitar, electric cello, multiple programmed acoustic drumkits, filtered strings, Rhodes, big synth bass, evil synth horn and a few other assorted synths. I assume this has too much jazz for metallers and too much metal for jazzers. So, only for weirdoes like me who enjoy both. This will surely be too odd for most people but I like to think it's pretty interesting and powerful. Let me know how its weirdness worked for you...
Description : Updated /18/12/2014 :fix someting, I added few brass, updated the "guitar riff" and change some transition.Hope this is better.A another epic cinematic track. There are a lot of hardcore work behind that tune. To celebrate the progression I do this years this track combine most of the elements of my previous prototypes : a epic drum beat (tournament),some panning effect (unstable waves)and more. Also in this tune there are 2 loops from here so thanks for 40A for the 1:58 choirs and jaceziii for the "brass french horn". I hope the title fit very well with this music!! btw tune are always better when you fully lisent it. like tournament I have some kind of surprise at 2:16 min. Just for fun I want to know which movie genre this tune can fit. like tournament comments I was able to make a little story and I enjoyed that :D
Description : Just an little remix of the old blow horn sample.
Description : This is a fun retro jazz/funk track kind of in the style of Quincy Jones' earlier stuff when he was doing themes for shows like Bill Cosby. There's some groovy organ, guitar, bass and horn stuff going on. Hope you like and feel free to download.
Description : This track was created as a studio project to trial the horn sections on the Roland GR55 Guitar Synthesizer with the Fender GK1 Strat and features Kamoflage on Rhyme / Vocals.
I ended up recording "ALL" the instruments on this track (except the drums) through the Roland GR55 as is the versatility of the unit.
If anyone is considering purchasing this bit of kit you should do so - its loads of fun!
Description : "Where is the horse and the rider? Where is the horn that was blowing? They have passed like rain on the mountain, like wind in the meadow. The days have gone down in the West behind the hills into shadow. How did it come to this?"
Description : A new song that was released in 2013 by me.
After a nice feedback from StaticNomad I decided to do some mastering on the track. I also added variations to the drums and bass. Thank you for your feedback!
I had to do something with this song. Added a new drum layer and modified the guitar.
This time I just tried to find a horn to start with and then i wanted to continue with a guitar. I was improvising 100% and the guitar track was completed within three tries.
Using the Antidote rack extension played through a Line 6 Guitar amp with the Wah Drive pedal. The Horn is pure synthesizers build on my two favorite rack extensions Antidote from Synapse and Rob Papens PredatorRE.
Hope you enjoy it!

I wanted to create a soundtrack that could be used in some wargame and I think I did a good job for some trashy game. As always I'm looking forward to see the replies of the community.
