Description : Energetic fast paced hardcore BANGER!! -TURN IT UP!!
In the first section i fooled around with some synths and recorded some ethnic sounding loops. I then threw in some more ethnic sounding beats, and cut out my own hardcore kick. To make things more intresting i added in a soft sine lead with an eastern scale melody.
After that, i was inspired to do a nice uplifting section, by none other than the game 'punch-out' on NES (listen you will hear a small resemblance).
Then i thought i would keep that going for a while and to finish it off i added in a pitch bend bass beat which i made with pitch automation in Protools. Thanks to looperman for the 'Take Control' vocal sample!

Description : Well this one is going under fusion.
Sounds like a few different things this track, the drums have an ethnic sound about them, theres a sort of trancey synth sound, heavy duty bass, a bit sorta cinematic, anyway see what you think yourselves folks, its a bit slow to start but I like this track.

Description : Dedicated to my beautiful daughter, it has a ethnic vibe, i used different synths to get the cellos and violins. most of it was dimension le by cakewalk. The garritan orchestra samples are quite good.
Description : This is a Latin -Spanish flavored tune. In fact, I don't see a catagory for it so I put it under 'Ethnic'.
I eat now and then at a 'Mighty Taco' resturant near me and decided to call this one "El Nino". :-)
This tune is kinda off beat for me, but I am sure someone on here will like it. Made from loop a CD I have full of Nylon guitar loops only, I purchased early last year, and put together with other loops and synth for weird effects.
Ha.....maybe I am getting weird since my last tune was heavy metal!

Description : This is the first song I've ever made (took a few hours), so don't expect greatness. It's made mostly from samples I've found on this site, mostly a lot of ethnic drums, sitar, and bass. I used the trial version of Sony ACID because I've yet to actually purchase it. It's rather cluttered and random, I know, I haven't really cleaned it up much. I suppose you could call this the first version, because there will probably be more edits in the future. This sounds best when listened with headphones.

Description : Reload (12-16-08) Combo Hip-Hop/Ethnic track that I did recently. I use a lil Tamboura and some more ethnic sounds. The intro is about 40 seconds long then the full beat drops. The 1st Kick sound that comes in on the intro is about 4 different sounds combined to make that 1ne.

Description : This is a brand new song, built around the dulcimer loop, I've tried to combine a rock beat with an ethnic melody, upbeat drums and heavy guitars mixed with tablas, bongo's and a sitar sample along with the dulcimer loop. Description : I'm not sure if Ethnic's the right genre for this or not ? It does have a Far East feel to it but I also added a kinda drum n bass beat as well. This was a bit of an experiment for me as I like some World Music and always wanted to write something that incorporated this style/influence, as with alot of my stuff I've tried to give it a cinematic feel. For this track I used Magix Music Maker 12 deluxe. Some of the loops have been edited and/or had fx added and I programmed the drum pattern myself. Like I say, it's a bit of an experiment, so any feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.

Description : I'm not sure what genre this falls into, ethno-psy-tech maybe? My music tends to blend a variety of influences but it usually falls into the broader stable of 'electronic dance'. This one was written on cubase with a good few plugins and 1 or 2 samples - downloaded here from Psycotropic circle (I think!) - the ethnic loop, which emphasises the track's tribal-tech cross. However I do plan to remix in the future into a straight 4 to the floor dance track. If only time wasn't the enemy :)

the track was made as a project in uni to create a remix. the original track was by a group called the peoples colony/temple of sound and this is were all the ethnic group vocals are from . the main structure of the song is created in reason whereas mixing and mastering were done in logic. live drums played by sion roberts and additional arrangement by tomjoll/chris maidlowe/sion roberts.
