So as I announced earlier this year, The Crystal Method was offering up some of their songs for other artists to play with by providing the stems on their web site (provided that you bought the album Divided By Night, dunno if they've changed the requirement since then).
Originally I was going to make a completely different song, but earlier on this morning when I was messing with adding stuff to the project I opened up the TCM- BR folder and started fooling with the vocals. I felt that they fit with the groove of what I was doing. So I ended up laying the entire vocal sample out and then I went and added other elements of their song. I dunno, I might've gone a bit overboard with the FX on here, but I was wanting to ensure that the vibe of the original song that I was working of carried over into this remix (which is where the name comes from, BTW, the orig title was Nap Time, and I intended for it to be a sister song to Snooze Button).
Genre-wise, I've thrown this into Electronic, even though I feel that it's more like some low tempo Tech-House. And at the moment I'm contemplating whether I should post Nap Time as well. Anyways, I hope yall dig this strange puppy I done did. Later on!
PS. Please tell me if the mixdown sounds muddled to you or not coz at the mo' I can't tell.

Description : The actual name of this song is Back 2 The Block (Chem Bros tribute beats), but I decided to make a special change for the site (since it is a showcase of stuff that's exclusive to here, the "Junglish Fishsticks" set).
So I'm bringin this back because I remember that I had this up as a possible collab. Made this a couple of months back using only loops from one of my drum series I added about a week earlier (Junglish Fishsticks). And it was also made to answer a challenge issued by MrE to come up with a drumpella track.
The name comes from the fact that this reminds me of an old Chem Bros song (a nod to Block Rockin Beats, but I'm not sure if that's the song it made me think of, I know it's on that album though) in a way. So I figured that since it's been 10+ years since they dropped that chune I'd treat this as a sort of revisit to that bygone era of electronic sweetness. Alright, nuff ramblin outta me. Hope yall dig this (and lemme know if ya wanna get down on it). Later on!

Description : Alright, I know its been a while, a real long while since I've uploaded something ... I've been "pre-occupied" with other stuff as of lately but I've still been making music, you can bet on that. This track I have worked on for awhile and it is a first for me as its the D&B genre with industrial electronic and a smidge of hip hop - figured Id take a stab at it after chattin with NeilVisher and I feel I did a pretty bang up job. Used some industrial fonts, a dday loop from NeilVisher plus a few other creep envy samples from him ( good lookin out man ), a Red Bass font, synthed piano samples, some nice industrial esque drums, cymbals and few other JDOT goodies like tons a VSTi's ( ha ha ). So yeah, enjoy and let me know what ya'll think.

Description : Continuing the Asimov's Foundation theme. The exiled psychohistorians from Trantor begin their final approach to the barren planet Terminus with a sense of apprehension, awe, and spiritual beginnings. I began with electronic sounds leading to a metal sound that provides a background to sci fi melodies. I used Acid Music Studio and some loops from this site.
Description : Wrote this back in November 2007 when i was still listening to a bit of metal. Especially Godsmack. The ONEMB name is the name i released it under = one man band, i release only my electronic stuff under The Krakafaktri title.
All instruments played by myself including the vocals, which i'm not real proud of, especially the lyrics for want of a better word, but it was better than leaving it instrumental. I aint one for writing lyrics or stories ya dig! I aint much of a lead singer either, im better suited to backing vocals or stuff in my range capabilities. So bah!!! Anyway, Guitar was played through Steinberg's Warp VST, Delay from PSP84 VST with BT Phaser PH2s, Bass in NI's Guitar rig 2 & Drums were originally played by me on my Yamaha dtxpressII midi drum kit through NI's Battery 3, then edited further to make them tight, due to latency issues, they were not very tight too begin with. But you deal with that. Vocals through the Rode NT1-A through .....wait for it...Waves C1 gate, Nomad Factories Analouge Signiture Studio Channel, Lives compressor, Waves Doubler, Lives Simple Delay & finally ..Nomad Factories Liquid Delay.......now do you want fries with that? OK, so all in all, i think the production was not too bad for home made metal. Dig it or die!! ha ha ha!!! Don't take this track too seriously.
Description : Two Japanese people see each other and fall in love instantly, however theres a problem, ones a poor Farmers Son and the other is a Daughter of a Wealthy businessman, high up in the emporers circle.
They must not been seen together, as this would mean the fathers son loosing his life. So...
They form a plan,..
The Wealthy Daughter, says she would dress up as a cleaner, and escape her house without her father knowing, when she is out they would meet in a crowded place.
The plan goes ahead and they hitch up, in a market area, she thinks she has been tailed so when the farmers son, asks "what is your name" as a code for its me (hes in disguise also).
She ignores him a few times, the farmers son realises this and tries to make it out that he has only just met her, but she ignores him for a while. Finally feeling safe she returns to the farmers son and says that its her, he replies with "pleased to meet you" to keep the cover.
But what was that? - a glint of a blade, a knife perhaps? - No its the edge of her fathers sunglasses and his bodyguards, they have been found out, so they run, hand in hand, forever running, love in thier hearts!

Description : Again, not sure yet the differences between different sub-genres of electronic music. I decided on "Fusion" because i've mixed reggae toy piano, 70s ballad-type piano and latin lounge with both club and classic rock beats. what's good about it? what sucks about it? Just finished it today.
