Description : Been away for a while. I was out the country. Just put K-Centric on one of my earlier tracks to get back in the groove.

Description : Track time- 2:19
This was something that I started in April, I think. Back when I was on one of my 'Live Instrument kicks'. In relistening, the tempo change up for the second part was unintentional, but I actually like how it works for the mood of this song now.
I put this into Classical because I felt that's what suited it best. And that leads us to the title- Again, in relistening I was reminded of the Guilded Age goodies of yesteryear's masters. The piece screams movement. Not just in it's melody, but almost physically. As if I could see myself atop a majestic steed. Starting out at a reasonable trot, charging right up to a full speed run, and then easing it back to a mid-paced gallop. Beginning outside of some regal estate decked with fountains, Rose gardens, and all. On a semi-cloudy day. Heading left in the direction of the wooded country. Ending up along side a meadow that's bordered by some meandering stream. The clouds thicken and the light of day begins to wane as my Horse and I begin to turn to head back home.
Sorry for that mini-story there. It's just what this causes me to see. Perhaps instead of a solitary Equine maybe it's a carriage full of friends. On their way to some ball maybe. Lemme know what yall think. Later on everyone!

Description : My first attempt at music (not a weird soundtrack). Made it on Mixcraft from loops as a challenge for me to try something "happier" than i usually do. I don't really know the genre it should belong to, altough i used a couple of country loops.

Description : Did this song to prove to my wife that everything I do isn't country. Jazzy blues feel. One of my faster peices. Getting better with my software to. In stereo. Rythem and vocals on 1 track. Lead on another. Back up vocals on 3rd track.
I'm really happy how this turned out for me recording it. Please let me know what you think.
God bless,
Blair

Description : This song is a liitle bit of blues, Vaudeville with some jazz chords. It's a serious joke. My cousin and me gettin fatter and fatter. Living in a rich country with plenty of food becomes a problem of luxery while other people die of hunger.
Recorded as simple as possible. A shuffle drumloop, one aucoustic and bass guitar, some fat thighs and a harp.
My cousin is singing.

Description : I finally got down to mixing my country track, I took all the electric out of it, maded it acoustic, add a drumloop...presto change-o. I'm okay with it, minus a few tweaks here and there. As usual, it needs vocals of which I will lay down when I get the time. This song is taking longer than what I tought.

As 'the king would say, "Thank ya, thank ya very much."

Description : This is my first song I ever made using Pro Tools and a Sony Sample Loop CD. I use a Korg Karma Workstation keyboard as a 'trigger device' and add in some subtle parts here and there with it.
There probably aren't very many country type songs on this site, but hey...variety is the spice of life. So basically this only about 2 minutes long and is an upbeat type of song that might make a good dance tune?
I am working on a slow Blues type of tune and will upload that in a couple weeks.

Tags : | Rock | 2.53 MB

Description : This is a Altern-rock type song made entirely of a sample loops library disk, from either Sony or Bigfishaudio, royalty free....as I buy and use both companies loops and other companies as well. Since I just found this site, I'll try some loops from here as well. :)
I made the song using Protools 7.4 as the main software engine. I added in compression, reverb and some EQ.
I did it all myself from loops and this is my second song ever. The first song I made is an upbeat country one if anyone wants to hear it.

Description : Yet another one of my "pop classic tracks" that I wrote and recorded waaaayyyyy back in 1993. Once again, please don't laugh. :)
I just thought that this song would be fun to put on looperman to show ya'll a "different softer side of me" since most people know me as a rocker type guy that plays in a crazy garage-punk band and would never thought that I'd write something like this. This song is off the "Time of Passion" album that I wrote and recorded. It's old, (like I said, I wrote and recorded this in '93) but still a keeper and every once in a while, I'll drag this song out and perform it for a few friends. If you like The Cure and bands in that genre or even alt-Americana, (No Depression) hopefully you'll like this song, because it can be played different ways. Everytime I play this song, it just keeps on getting more and more 'country' sounding. I don't think I'll ever be happy with the way I recorded it, but what's done is done, but mybe one of these days, I'll record it with just a fiddle, guitar, mandelion, resonator and bass. I think it'd make a really good country song.

Tags : | Electronic | 4.06 MB

Description : A song totally constructed from samples - mixing pads, ethnic percussion, strings, - the original arrangement was composed on guitar and a type of Indian cello so I was trying to get the same sort of spaciness in this arrangement.
The vocals on this version are by Colleen de Winton.
I find it hard to define this track - is it pop? Why isn't this genre in the list?

Description : Alternative Country Rock Fusion Disco does not exist as a Genre on here, so I've stuck this under 'Rock'.... This is a work in progress... Getting a lot more practice in using Drum loops......This Done up in Magix Music Maker (Basic Edition), with Drum loops. Everything else I either created the loops or played live tracks (vocals, guitar, bass). The Intro a bit by accident when I was adding effects on one of the vocal takes.. The Bridge is rather unique, opted to stay away from doing the expected. Enjoy.
