Description : A fully recorded version including my vocal of a song I made with some awesome guitar samples from rei4real that I picked up here at looperman - Its a kind of Billy bragg'esque rant at the state of the country I live in today - I don't normally use my accent on my vocals but with the ska movement beginning to pick up again in the UK and the general mood of the country I thought it fitted the song quite well. Thanks for the listens and any feedback from one of my 1st ever Acid Pro tryouts. Justin x
Description : Project Jump4Joy2010 Summary. By E-mail me your Cv and explain how you can and want to contribute to this project. This is a Global Project for a collaborative effort to put together a theme song for the 2010 world cup soccer in South Africa. The basic idea is to take the song and translate it to the official languages for every country who has ever played a final in the WC series. These include English, French, Italian, Portuguese, Spanish, Dutch, German, Swedish, Hungarian, Czech. These songs will then be made available for free to South African Media during the 2010 world cup. Other distribution rights will remain in the group of artists.
The current status is: lyrics(English) and chords/melody fixed (could be changed if really needed), but for the rest everything needs to be added. We have access to studio facilities, but have not yet allocated this to a specific person. We prefer not to have a studio involved until the project has a bit of momentum, but are open to change this if required. Current status of music: a very simple basic demo (Nothing final) of the song to get some input from contributors on the web – need drums, keyboard/synth, guitar and vocals – song should start out small but intense, one voice or children’ s choir (will be decided in final mix)– and grow in second part, and must create a crowd/stadium sound – such as fans singing in the final chorus part, i.e. build up to a mass choir in the last repeated stanza. Maybe have a woman s voice to start off, but the final chorus will be male dominated, vibrant and powerful. Instrumentalists, feel free to be creative with the instrumentals, but keep the previous in mind please. This is a great opportunity for the instrumentalists in the song, since the project vision is that there will be only one official backtrack to the 10 different language versions. The project requires Songwriter and Vocal talent Managers for each of the 10 languages . (if your official language is not on the list, and you are willing to manage that part, please contact us as well.) The musical team will comprise of maximum 8 contributors who will contribute their time free ( if profits are generated, a percentage is paid per contributor). Possible instruments to be included: guitar, keyboard/synth, drums/percussion and vocals/lead/supporting. This is the only project as far as we know, and the only song that the media will have available in virtually every official language of top participating countries.
4/4 time 120bpm
ngSSB - drums
Spacebric -melody/synth and vocals
Description : ;}I just heard a great song by Barry Morgan with a similar name to this song. It made me think of this ol' dark almost country rock song of mine. I programmed the bass and drums on an Ensoniq EPS. The Acoustic and electric guitars were performed by my good friend Ken Moran (still lookin' for him BTW) Played on a Westone Spectrum DX w/ Bendmaster Deluxe Whammy bar; through an Original Rockman belt worn guitar amp; with help from a Digitech DSP256.fx rack. and I sing (sorry). Recorded in my front room on a Tascam 246. I promise, the next thing I upload will be new... Please give the quality a break. This song was lost to me due to a fire. (master) Thank God I gave a copy to a friend (18year old cassette) I may delete this due to its quality.........Updated 5/22/09- Mr E offered to clean up the trak for me.... He took alot of noise out and fattened it up more. Thank you, Mr.E for helping me preserve this treasured piece. Getting lots of comments.... A remake in the future? Totally!

Description : A TRACK FROM MY BAND, BATTERY GLAND.
I HAVE USED SEVERAL SAMPLES AND LOOPS IN THIS WORK, SO I'D HAVE TO SAY IT QUALIFIES TO BE UPLOADED HERE....
**THIS SONG WAS INSPIRED BY THE POOR MISMANAGEMENT OF THE COUNTRY DURING THE BUSH ADMINISTRATION**
Description : A slow goin', belt buckle polishin', tearjerker !!! My idea of contemporary bluez with some deep country influence !!! The VOX whinez while the lead guitar criez !!! Enjoy !!! Kelley K
Description : I downloaded a drum loop =looperman_83928_9306_mo_1 = and put this country style guitar to it, added 2 support guitars and a base line. This is the end result perhaps "country disco" style.
Description : This song is called Young & Crazy by my band, The Muckrakes. It's basically a song about well, being young and crazy and what it was like back in the days in the country sitting around, drinking beer, falling in love and shooting firecrackers.
Description : for my soul lovers... back on my hiphop shit, mac back and ableton, mpd32, and a fresh crate i bought in a antique store in a 3rd world country enjoy.
Description : back on my hiphop shit, mac back and ableton, mpd32, and a fresh crate i bought in a antique store in a 3rd world country enjoy.
Description : The structure of this track is very simple: A well known tune from the 50th or so, i found as a free loop at macloops.com, a Belgian Drone, very nice singers, a Hip Hop beat, a male rapline, a synth and the best of all: a chilling motown drummer at the end of the verse. The verse is repeated two times.
New: I added now to the second verse a banjo and a fiddle.
Description : Well....here is a tune I have been working on for about 2 months. The first part is basically country music, featuring Dobro, Fiddle, Piano, Pedal steel, Banjo, Harmonica and Flat pickin' Acoustic guitar with pull-off's- hammer-on, etc.
The second part of this tune is pure Cajun music straight from the bayou's of Lousiana, featuring Accordion and Fiddle.
Since I couldn't find any royalty free Accordion Cajun music, My friend Chris Miller from Lake Charles, LA, let me use part of one of his tunes so I could finish this project.
In return, I gave him all rights to use this whole song on his next CD if he wants to. (He won the 2008 CFMA award this year).
On this tune I am not playing the drums, fiddle, harmonica or Accordion (All those from loops). But I am playing all the rest of the instruments. I didn't put a lot of 5-string banjo in as I am a little rusty on that. Maybe next time. :-)
The song may be a little bass heavy for some as I geared it toward computer speakers more.
So if you like this type of music, put on your knee high boots, give a listen, and dance away.

Description : This track by The Electric Kitten is on our third album, I Was A Fat House Cat. It's got a bluesy country feel with a sharp harmonica but it breaks down into a catchy chorus. One of my favorite tracks.
Description : Hi all...This is a song I put together from royality free loop disk(s)
I own. Basically an Altern-rock song that is kinda short.
Has a cool lead guitar near the end. So I am not playing on this one at all....just arranged it. Hope you like it.
(Needed a temporary diversion from the country song I am putting together still)
Description : Been away for a while. I was out the country. Just put K-Centric on one of my earlier tracks to get back in the groove.
Description : Track time- 2:19
This was something that I started in April, I think. Back when I was on one of my 'Live Instrument kicks'. In relistening, the tempo change up for the second part was unintentional, but I actually like how it works for the mood of this song now.
I put this into Classical because I felt that's what suited it best. And that leads us to the title- Again, in relistening I was reminded of the Guilded Age goodies of yesteryear's masters. The piece screams movement. Not just in it's melody, but almost physically. As if I could see myself atop a majestic steed. Starting out at a reasonable trot, charging right up to a full speed run, and then easing it back to a mid-paced gallop. Beginning outside of some regal estate decked with fountains, Rose gardens, and all. On a semi-cloudy day. Heading left in the direction of the wooded country. Ending up along side a meadow that's bordered by some meandering stream. The clouds thicken and the light of day begins to wane as my Horse and I begin to turn to head back home.
Sorry for that mini-story there. It's just what this causes me to see. Perhaps instead of a solitary Equine maybe it's a carriage full of friends. On their way to some ball maybe. Lemme know what yall think. Later on everyone!
Description : a crunk beat mixed with mexican and country guitars with and small african flavor.
Description : My first attempt at music (not a weird soundtrack). Made it on Mixcraft from loops as a challenge for me to try something "happier" than i usually do. I don't really know the genre it should belong to, altough i used a couple of country loops.
Description : Did this song to prove to my wife that everything I do isn't country. Jazzy blues feel. One of my faster peices. Getting better with my software to. In stereo. Rythem and vocals on 1 track. Lead on another. Back up vocals on 3rd track.
I'm really happy how this turned out for me recording it. Please let me know what you think.
Description : This song is a liitle bit of blues, Vaudeville with some jazz chords. It's a serious joke. My cousin and me gettin fatter and fatter. Living in a rich country with plenty of food becomes a problem of luxery while other people die of hunger.
Recorded as simple as possible. A shuffle drumloop, one aucoustic and bass guitar, some fat thighs and a harp.
My cousin is singing.
Description : I finally got down to mixing my country track, I took all the electric out of it, maded it acoustic, add a drumloop...presto change-o. I'm okay with it, minus a few tweaks here and there. As usual, it needs vocals of which I will lay down when I get the time. This song is taking longer than what I tought.
As 'the king would say, "Thank ya, thank ya very much."
