Description : Made this last year for another friend but nothing came out of it so again just putting it out there for my creative people :).
This is a pop(ish) rnb(ish) type beat, more pop but it's got a slowed down mid-tempo club kind of feel to it. The second track I've uploaded in which i'm happy with the production quality, it sounds a lot more professional then stuff I upload (imo). Let me know what you think...
It took me a long time to get the mix right(ish) as the bass, which is one of the first times I had created any sort of melodic pattern in the bassline, took me a long time to mix as there was a fine line between not being able to hear it and it distorting the other instruments.
I'm also pretty happy about the hook of the song, it's probably the best one I've ever composed, especially the subtle chord progression in the second half.
Anyway enough raving, hopefully someone can make something really good of it, rapper or singers can do whatever even if it's just a verse or a hook :)... and please send me a copy or a link to it after as I would love to hear what you've done.

Chord sequence is what I used for my GCSE composition piece. Still don't know how well I did.
Description : Headphones are needed to hear the violin's broken chords 'SAIL' from left to right. Panning was my main focus in this experiment, and I'm pretty happy with how it worked out. The first two notes of each broken chord are in the left, and the last two are in the right, and thanks to EDIROL's panning device I could make that transition a smooth one. As well as this, I tried to accomplish an upbeat chorus to contrast a minor-keyed verse. I think the two more or less do compliment each other and help emulate the feel of the rocky waves during a boat cruise, before the water calms down at last. I'm also unsure as to what genre this fits into, so until further recommendation, I'm gonna class it as pop.

Uses a bassoon-like lead part sometimes to give a middle English feel.
The second section uses a slow heavier beat to lead the listener into the center of the sound.

Ok so this is my 2nd track on logic pro 9, and little did i know that it was gonna become such an awesome work, and the first of 3 tracks i plan on doing in the same style, to put together in a little EP ;)
It's an emotional (duh...) uplifting yet chilled; lovely progressive tune, with really cool piano leads, and soft warm chord synths i created using Sylenth =D
The idea for this track came from the flute samples you can hear, the flute melody in the breakdown, is from a song in the soundtrack of the movie ''Kill Bill'' by Quentin Tarantino, and i just fell in love with that melody, and felt compelled to fool around with it on logic =P

Description : I put this one together while looking out the window at the year's first snow. A good moody driving song to get lost in. Three chord slowhand blues progression. Thanks to Slap Johnson for the great sax loops used in this song. I used my GR-20 guitar synth for a few of instruments including the Rhodes Organ, always a fun toy compared to doing on my keyboard sometimes. Most of the recording was done with my new Les Paul Studio guitar, err... (until i I broke a string on the outro, so I decided to throw in a Fender Strat too to finish it up. Description : This track is straight up trance in the way it's set up. I found some sweeeeet synths to use for this song. some real spacie stuff. It's got all of the usual trance plucks and the bass. Dah dah dah buildup and then BAM sweet melody! I love melodies against a sweet chord progression. In this case a series sequenced notes.
