Description : Hiphop Instrumental inspired by chord progression from I know Places by Lykke Li.

Tags : | Chill Out | 10.99 MB

Description : A cool Classical chillout song by NUraver with vocals by BabyGee.
The song is made up from a collection of instruments like the Electric Piano, an Acoustic Guitar, a violin then topped off with a moody Chord stab hook( that actually started life as a Basic Saw sound)
Enjoy!!!

Description : This is a composition still in progress. I have the backing tracks for the bass and drums I programmed turned down and the guitar solo is louder. The chord progression keeps repeating, and only the guitar parts change, so I need to add a bridge, and also have someone help me with the bass and drums. You can see my video on my youtube channel so you see how I play the solo. I can make it much better with the right help.

Description : I composed this song by creating two different melody lines, and then playing them together on different tracks so that the two melodies created different harmonic chord qualities. The solo was quite difficult at first, but I kept working on what my head heard, and then I practiced the fingerings until it was smooth. Wow this one was cool.

Description : This is a song I created using the Dr. Rhythm DR-770 for the bass and drums, and I put two guitar tracks. I play one track for the chord progression, and the other guitar track for the solo for a total of four tracks. I used a Fender Stratocaster on this song with the tone knobs turned down a bit for a smooth sound quality.

Description : Electronic blues using the acapella Tell Me by Sinxi.

Description : This is second try to write edm music. Chord progression is simple 4 bars repetition, melody has a lot of syncopation over verse, chorus, and bridge. Also, Bass or keyboard compression against the kick drum. Riser and noise needed. Within this simple format, making hit song is certainly difficult.

Description : TheLeach, bass player with the German group, How to Loot Brazil, recently posted several acapellas here on Looperman. These are the actual vocals from tracks that the band has released.

The acapella for Box Room caught my fancy. You can find the pella here: https://www.looperman.com/acapellas/detail/11036/how-to-loot-brazil-box-room-full-acapella-by-theleach-148bpm-pop-acapella

I did listen to the bands original version (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K7r9zbgn8tU), which I liked a lot. For some reason, though, I found it really difficult to figure out the chord progressions used in the bands version. I think that is because it has a very complex electronic arrangement that, for much of the song, is more about providing interesting counterpoint to the vocal melody than laying down a traditional instrumental bed. Not sure if that description makes sense, but if you watch their Youtube video, I think you will understand what I mean.

I started trying to work out the chords using a piano patch, and that seemed to set the tone and style for my remix. I use Logic Pro and it was telling me that I was playing all kinds of crazy chords (11ths, and 13ths, and diminished). Had no idea what I was doing, frankly. Just searching for chord sequences that sounded right. Spent a bit of time chopping up the vocal and time-aligning it. Added a bit of processing. Dropped one whole section of the vocal because I just couldnt find a way to make it fit with the style and feel of the remix. (It worked fine in the original and also in other remixes that have been done by Looperman members.)

So, this remix is very different from the bands original version. And, I hope that TheLeach, who wrote the song, wont be too upset with where I took it. He wrote it on an acoustic guitar, apparently, so it clearly evolved quite a bit to get to their recorded version. Anyway, doing something different is what remixes are all about. Right?

Description : Tokiiro stands for the color of the Japanese crested ibis. Simply, pink close to yellow. A few number of the birds observed in Sadogashima, Nigata of northern Japan. They flew over the Asian continent long ago. I imagined this scenery. Part of chord progression refers to the excellent Jazz pianist web site.

Description : Firstly, I intended to write drone footage music which start minor key then gradually changes to the light mood with major 7th chord or hybrid slash chord. But I couldn't do that. Result was a very small motif in minor with no modulation.

Tags : | Chill Out | 4.36 MB

Description : I wanted to make another chill trap.
I also wanted to make an ambient trap.
Ah, who says you cant have both?

[This is a WIP. Minor flaws will be fixed in the final version. Title may also vary.]

Producers: Zivon

DAWs used: FL Studio 12

Other things: I used the spoken word "Always on my mind" by Eshar. (Thank you Eshar!)

[Update] Took sever suggestions. Added reverb to the intro bells, Changed attack times on the piano chord progressions, added sever downlifters and Rev cymbal FXs. Ditched the "Chill trap sound" I was going for. Now i'm pursuing "Chill" with this little number. Made the ending a little easier to handle. More suggestions appreciated! :)

[Final update] Mar/25/2017
Smoothed things out. Made the riff in the middle just a little more immersive and spread out the twinkley melody in various parts.Put some more voxes at the end. More tracks coming very soon! Please stay tuned!

Description : Fasten your seat belts, brace yourself, it will begin soon!
My best composition ever! Triumph, for the victory!

In fact, I had the principal theme in my head for a long time, maybe one year. But I didn't want to create this, because I thought that it would be very hard and long but finally, It's done! It takes me about two weeks to be finished.

The music begins with timbanies and staccato altos. The principal theme begins with strings and horns. Then, there is a transition in E minor. Then, the principal restarts with more attack and power. After, there is again a brake. The theme comes back gradually. Brake, and boom! Drums, horns, percussions... An epic moment in the piece. It just lacks an electric guitar. Anyway, after, there is the acoustic guitar accompanied by the flute. And then, the theme restarts to finish on a major chord.

Description : This is a VIP of my original track "Allure" which can be found here on my profile page. This track follows the same chord progression, however the melody and synth structure are redesigned and refreshed. I've also dramatically slowed down the bpm and kept the beat to the iconic house, floor-on-the-floor pattern. I wanted to achieve a chill tropical house feel while also introducing an uplifting vibe throughout the drop. If you are reading this I would kindly ask if you can listen to this and the original "Allure" track and leave some feedback. I'm really trying to advance my sound design skills and knowledge and your feedback really matters, thank you!

Description : It's the end of the War Against Humans, and the robots have won. As the robots became more and more emotionally intelligent, they experienced grief, and many of them became addicted to machine liquor. As they walk together in the rain, amid the rubble of civilization, a drunken robot sings along to the victory music with his straight-laced friend and the girlbot who hangs out with them.
***
I created every melody and chord pad in this using a synth, starting from a sine wave and moving from there. Some of the percussion started that way too. Once I laid down the percussion, I played in the rest of the chords and notes by hand on my keyboard.
***
I also read a chapter about mixing, and then used that new knowledge to place the instruments up, down, back, front, left, and right using a spectrum analyzer and filters. That was a new and really exciting experience for me.
***
I'm categorizing this as cinematic, because the music represents a story.

Description : something I put together this morning. everything was custom made except the intro chord section.still working on it, kind of a edm meets dubstep(yes I know original).
