Description : This is the competition piece for Looperman that I made for Robb, I personally think it's a great re-creation of his beautiful song. I played this for over 150 people and they want more, so thanks Robb for the opportunity to create this piece.
Description : This is another off the cuff recording, nothing fancy just an electric guitar track and an alto sax track. Both tracks recorded first take to try and capture the improvisation in it's raw state. I have added reverb to the sax and adjusted the levels slightly, but that's it. I am sticking with this format for the next 6-10 tracks, I just want to work on getting the what's in my head music across to the finger music a little more directed, if that makes sense.. I hope you enjoy this little piece of heaven..

when i was 17 years old my best friend for over 7 years died of an overdose.....
then just last year i had another close friend of mine commit suicide....
Blue stocks made this track, show some love. i just wrote my thoughts about the evil\gorgeous woman that we will all meet, hopefully later than sooner. Also how i have learned that ever present cliche that life is too short............death is unavoidable.

This is probably the one track that i have created that has gotten rave reviews on a broad range of music enthusiest from hip hop lovers to house heads. I love music and it inspires me to keep on pressing forward...

Description : The title refers to a critique on Christianity I read in one of Dawkin's books. As our knowledge of the world increases, the things science can't yet explain (the places god is the only explanation) shrinks. This is why the Church tends to be anti-science, because it is effectively the enemy of a god of the gaps. I'm not trying to proselytize this particular viewpoint; I just thought it would be a cool name for a track [and it was on my mind when I first started writing it].
I'm using a chillout drum loop with mild slicing for the basic beat. The lull is a simple animated LP filter. I'm using a few biohazard channels (the ping sounding lead, the high pitched backing that changes sound, that intro effect), some sytrus strings (the strings, the other backing), a few FL Keys channels (the piano, detuned piano, detuned bassline), and, new to this version, a recording from my Roland EM-10.
I wrote it while on a road trip from Orlando to Denver (~30 hours in the car, and I only got to drive like five of them) and on a flight home from Denver > Houston > DC. I spent some time hiking in the mountains with the refrain stuck in my head, and most of the development came out of the echoes around my headspace. Colorado is a beautiful state.

This is an original track finished early last February that was originally intended to get signed. Failing that (labels said there was potential but it didn't sound professional enough), I've put it up for free download elsewhere and am uploading it here as an example of what I can do!
I used FL Studio 8, ReFX Nexus2, and VECs 1 & 2 to put it together. This is a good example of what I can do, so feel free to offer advice, it would be appreciated!
