Description : I heard janis71's "Miss You" acapella and liked it, so I made a song with it. I also used her "Haaaaaaa" acapella for some background vocals. For the synth sounds I used the minimoog V and Phoscyon vsts, and for the drums I used 505 and 909 samples. This is still a work in progress, so any advice would be very helpful and much appreciated.

Description : So I have this epic song Rain. If I included every part I've produced for this song it would be like 15 minutes long. I've recorded it many times trying to get it just right - never satisfied though. I think it would be a rock classic if we could do it right.
This is the latest but probably not greatest incarnation of the Interlude section of Rain. Kinda thrown together sure - just a simple studio one drum track and a hastily chosen (but decent) mag organ type sound set as the background for the Guitar centerpiece. You'll notice I tried to inject a couple time warp tempo changes. Not so well I think but it's my first try at that in studio.
If anyone likes the work and thinks they can master any one or better yet all of the back tracks for I certainly would love the contribution. A great vocal would be nice too.

I created this track to surround/highlight the famous haiku "The Moon Her Majesty." My vocals on the reading...which I can take or leave. So! wished I could afford Johnny Depp for that part! The background vocals (sounds like, "feel your love") is a sample of Floyd "A New Machine." Always loved that. In this particular track, specifically, I matched loops with the rhythm of the spoken word. Verrrrrry beatnik! You dig?? You jive??
PS. It took me 6 hours to read like Jack Kerouac and get into his character!

The background behind this one is it was written for the San Andreas Online video game for a gang maybe four years ago when i was still playing it. The track never saw day light.
