Description : This track sounds a little like it came out of a pirates of the caribbean move.

Description : Didn't know if i should put this under metal or orchestral, but i figured that the song is mainly orchestral. I've been working on this track for a couple of weeks, tweeking and tweeking, getting the right instruments and i think it came out pretty awesome. kinda reminds me of a movie soundtrack. I'm working on a version with vocals, but i don't know when it will be ready so i figured i'd put out this instrumental. PLEASE, GIVE ME FEEDBACK!

lol been busy lately. hope to get back on more often.

i have three versions of this song,
this is the normalized version.
A short track i made of me playing the piano.
a bit glitchy, has some flange and added some noise for
that radio static feel, but i might improve on it some.
im proud of this one, its the second one, i've done all by my self with no help or added loops. and i like it.
not exactly sure on the genre, maybe someone could be kind enough to help clarify for me.
anybody got any ideas for the best sound editor
program? your help would be appreciated.
its not completely done yet, but i guess this will do for now.

This is my humble attempt at highlighting my appreciation of piano and various string instruments in an attempt at captivating the essence of this beautiful genre. Many thanks to The Fam for some of the loops used - I deleted user identifiers without realizing impact so haven't been able to keep up and give individual credits.

Description : I started out with just the warm mid-range strings section you hear toward the middle of the song when the piano gets sparse and sad, and I expanded on it from there. I really wanted that to be a theme throughout the song so I did my best to keep it going, even increasing the velocity of the notes in the track and adding a limiter on the master to get an even volume throughout the track. When it came in at just over 2:40, I felt it wasn't long enough to constitute an instrumental piece, so I started writing more string parts and just looped the piano sections, having recorded them in two tracks, one for treble and one for bass. I layered the strings to get a really big, climactic sound, and this is the end result. I don't say it very often, but I am really happy with it.

Description : I really wanted to write something in B flat minor, and I came up with the opening riff while jamming with my band. They liked it, but not nearly as much as I did, so I kept it for my solo piano project and this is the final result.

Description : Trying to come up with a big hero sounding string ensemble. Here I'm layering multiple sample collections from Vienna, East West and base Logic instruments.

Description : This is a cropped version of the song 'The Mood Of The Moon' I composed in 2008. I only kept that part 'cause I enjoy the way it starts with the oriental influence.
I didn't really know how to classify this song, so because of the intro and the use of the strings I put it under Orchestral...
