Description : Epic a capella music. Up to ten layers at a time, twenty one loops/sessions. Recorded with a simple headset/boom mic, so the quality is a bit low fi. There's a reverb channel on the whole thing that will probably be toned down a bit.

All vocal loops are my own. I'll throw them up in the a capella section on this site at some point.

The rhythm section is now done by my younger brother. I drove up to visit him a week or two ago and hung out for a few hours. In the time, we talked about life, cars, music, and got caught up on the last few months. I was excited to show him my (quite novice) attempts at beat boxing. When I played the track, I was really happy with the vocals, but the terrible rhythm section was detracting from the track.

... so I turned it off, set up a quick click track, handed the headset to my brother, and said "go." It took a few tries and a bit of explaining, but eventually we recorded about ten minutes of him laying down a beat that blew my mind.

I took three that I really liked the sound of and put them through some reverb and minor levels adjustment, rearranged them to cover the length of the song and fit the builds, but otherwise left them alone. I think it's a lot better now.

Description : I was thinking about someone training hard for something physical...going through the ups and downs of hard labor, and then unleashing it when the time is right.
Still working on it...

Description : This was mostly inspired by Batman Begins OST by Hans Zimmer. I wanted this to be a fall theme or a Halloween theme. The song basically means the beginning of the concept. More of the tracks will be based in the winter.

This is the first song to the my orchestral/instrumental
theme The Antagonist.

Enjoy.

Description : I've always enjoyed the sound of a full orchestra. Nothing else like it. I threw this together in Magix the other day. This is a shortened version. At one time I had recorded and arranged an all original 12 minute symphony, another victim of my hard drive failure.

Description : The final track of the concept. I wanted to use more live instruments instead of synths. I was pretty happy the way it came out.

Enjoy.

Description : I love reading scifi. One of my favorite books is The Sparrow by Mary Doria Russell. It's about mankind's discovery of another world through music drifting across space. The planet was called Rakhat. I hope the novel is made into a good movie someday. In my mind I imagine this type of music being played during the opening credits. It's composed entirely from loops included with the Sony Acid Music Studio 7 software.

Description : Genre: Electronic, Ambient, Chill... I never know how to pinpoint the genre in my tunes! This is a bit of a fun song - heavy beat, bass lines, strings, some spoken word from Aleister Crowley (look him up!)... the works. Loads of loops off here... so thanks to all who contributed to this track. I used "Breathing Beat, Junebug 1 & 2) I enjoyed putting it together and making it. Think of it as an homage to vampire and ghouls and all sorts of magical creatures sitting around the table at a fabulous banquet hall!

Description : This is an intro track I made for a local band. The asked if I could make one for Sonfest, a huge concert (i don't know where) and I said sure. It so happens that right before they play, the CD breaks. Bummer!! ha well here it is. Please leave some feedback so I know how I'm doing :) **this track is bass heavy**

Description : No idea what genre this is, but I felt cinematic as I was making it, haha. I made a few variations of a synth line in Garageband with my keyboard to keep a theme with rest of the song I just feel it is missing something, I have no idea what? Any suggestions would be cool...or you can download it and add to it if you like, let me know if you come up with anything. it's 100 bpm - 4/4 A if that matters? Thanks for listening.

Description : I was digging through my abandon project files and found this one and decided to give it another try. Sometime last year I downloaded some piano loops from Slap Johnson that I thought were cool and really wanted to do something with, I tried several times and then gave up - till now. I started from scratch with some new ideas and ended up finishing this finally. It's kinda a crazy hard switch up of styles but I really wanted to experiment with this idea. There are also a couple loops from MrRobot buried in here as well, other than that made predominantly Sony loops. Open your mind. I'm still battling with the final mix, so hopefully I'll upload that soon.

Description : Haven't uploaded anthing in a while... let's start with my latest work, a ambient like song I just finished today. This was inspired by a matrix soundtrack, "clubbed to death" and also other songs out of the sountrack and dance genre. I was being very creative making this one and I hope you'll like it.
I used some default sytrus synthesizer there and changed their sound by adding flanger, delay and filters.
